Works as advertised

The watch is stylish and works well. The first one we received was essentially DOA and we had to send it back at our expense. The company was very courteous and responsive and the replacement works fine. My wife was concerned that the HR monitor on the treadmill at the gym was inaccurate She was correct. She loves the fact that the face is offset. As I said the replacement works fine but I have a problem with paying to return an item that was DOA which is why I only gave it three stars.

Very Disappointed

I was really excited to get this watch. It fit great and set-up was easy, but the trasmitter never read my HR. I even had other people try it to make sure it wasn't my fault. I tried cleaning it with rubbing alcohol as suggested, cleaning my chest with soap and water, and tried tightening/loosening the strap. As a last resort, I tested the volts in the battery to make sure it was good. There was still no HR showing up. So, I just printed a return slip and I will try a different brand.

Didn't work, right out of the box...

I'm giving this two stars, beause up until the "sync" step, it was really easy to set up. The instruction manual was a bit vague, but it was still pretty understandable. However, right from the get-go, I could not get the watch to sync with the chest strap, therefore making it useless to me. I returned it and went with a Polar model, which I absolutely LOVE. I guess with heart rate monitors, it pays to purchase a more expensive one!

I haven't even been able to use it yet.

I have no idea if this thing does what it says. I have had this watch for a few weeks now and because it is too complicated for me to set up and get to using it, I haven't. I just don't have the time or energy to read the manual and set all the settings. I wish I bought something a bit less complicated, but that is just my opinion.

very disappointed

I had done a lot of research before I purchased this watch. I couldn't wait to get it. After using it once, I couldn't get the chest strap and the watch to pair. I followed what little trouble shooting tips they had in the manual without success. I bought it especially for the HRM and the calories burned feature to help with my workouts. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. The manual is a little hard to follow too. Will be returning to get a refund and find something that will work more than once.

Poor quality

purchased this monitor for a friend. Unfortunately, it stopped working after only 5 wears. I attempted to replace the battery, but that did not resolve this issue. After 5 uses, the monitor would not turn on anymore. The company did offer to replace it, but I chose a refund instead.

Couldn't hook up the heart rate monitor despite following the directions a number of times in a row. Would have returned it, but it got damaged before a new watch arrived. Design wise - obviously it is very bulky by looking at it, but the watch is VERY thick underneath the face of the watch too.

Item all I wanted although I didn't realize the heart monitor strap was part of it. Also the package was a bit dented upon arrival but the contents were fine.

Watch came with a dead battery.

Bought as a Christmas present for my daughter. Very disappointed on Christmas Day as the watch would not work. I had to wait until the watch repair shop opened to find out the watch had a dead battery. Luckily the strap battery didn't need replacing and my daughter was happy to finally get to try it out. Its a good enough watch although there is a bit of a time delay in displaying the actual heart rate when exercising.

calories burned not working anymore, not sure if the battery is weak and needs to be replaced. Only used a few times before it stopped working.
