Bristles fall out in paint

I bought this brush based on the relative positive reviews. But I had just the opposite experience. I purchased this brush for to apply a wash finish on a small (<100 sf) wall. Within the few few minutes, I started finding bristles on the wall in the wet paint - about 1 bristle every 3 square feet. Picking out the bristles, cleaning up the mess and repainting made me regret buying this brush. Simply awful. Went into the trash after first use.

Great for brushed pearl effect

I used this brush with some Valspar signature brushed pearl paint and it worked great. You could get away without using this specific brush but it helped apply a thick coat of paint which was needed for the look I wanted. One thing to note is that it’s straight edged so using this brush for cutting in is not recommended. Also the size makes it hard to get the brush into corners. Why not 5 stars? As some of the other reviewers stated, this brush releases bristles which can get very annoying if you don’t catch them stuck to the wall before the paint dries.

I guess it does what it is supposed to, but bristles constantly come out while painting! This is the only brush of this kind I have found, other wise I would recommend trying another brand...

Bristles fall out

I bought this brush to apply a faux finish. I was cross-hatching the wall and immediately single bristles began sticking to the wall. I was able to pull them off, but it added another level of difficulty to the task. I thought buying a brush recommended specifically for that purpose would make the job easier. It did not.
