Great boot so far, worth the extra cost for comfort.
Tried these as well as Reebok, UA, Bates, waiting to try 5.11. My job requires a comp toe black boot. Others have been uncomfortable in the zipper, heel, along stitching and eyelits. These are comfortable boots and will put them up against 5.11 arriving tomorrow to make the final decision.

It's exactly what I expected
It's where resistant as promised, fully payed Steele toe, even got extra pair of insoles they are extremely comfortable. Excellent for heavy duty work it's also slippery resistant.

Don't waste your money.
Unfortunately I wasted my money on these. Cheap materials and construction, you have to untie the boots even with the side zip due to being to tight at the top to pull your foot out. I compare these to cheap boots sold at Walmart and I paid 3 times the cost.

Fits well per my regular size
I disliked the fact that this product is made in China, but the quality and fit is good.

With zipper fully open I cannot remove my feet (or re-insert them) without unlacing the boots.
This review is written for a size 10.5 Wide. I'm writing this review after unlacing the boots, inserting my feet, then lacing them up to the tension that I desire. The purpose of having a zip-side boot is so that you don't need to fuss with the laces once you've set them to the proper tightness. The problem with this boot is there is a waterproof "curtain" that spans the gap between the open zipper sides. The curtain prevents the zippers from separating far enough to get my foot in-and-out of the boot. This problem may not exist for people with narrow or "normal" width feet. But for me it's a deal breaker. If I want to unlace the boots every time I remove them I'll not buy zip-side boots. Sorry, but this is the im-Propper boot for me \-:

Laces are weird
I’m a 5’2 women and generally wear a 6 womens or 4-4.5 mens I ordered a 5 wide mens and it actually fits a lot better than I was expecting and the widnes gives room for my toes and doesn’t scrunch them together, the laces and zipper seem a little on the cheap side I was thinking it was like a metal material but feels more like a plastic. I got them on sale but I don’t think I would of bought them for what they’re going for now

Side zipper doesnt let my foot out...
These propper brand boots are not good. The heal cup raps around the heal, and digs in. The side zipper doesn't open enough, you have to un-lace to get out. The water proof tongue webbing only goes half way up the calf. Sending them back.

Probably the worst boots I ever had ... I had many and design issues put it on the last spot...
It gonna be long, but some story is needed there ... First of all - I had many boots and I walk A LOT ... getting most boots worn out in a year or two, when I say worn out - I mean it... Have good experience with many from cheap "Interceptors" from Walmart to much more expensive, (basically has work/tactical boots in $50-$250 range) yeah I know how to break in, sometimes has to modify something to make them more comfortable but in general those are boots I wear all day long - rain/snow/sunshine/dirt, asphalt or forest - the very same is on...if it stay then it is good, I wash, polish, waterproof and glue/stitch them as necessary... Now as you see being worst one is somewhat of ... try... nothing extraordinary of my feet, a bit thinner than average guy with that boot size, and for composite/steel toes I prefer "wide" size to avoid rubbing on edge of toe (common for cheap work boots of Walmart)... Thick socks for initial wear in is a must... so stick it on...well some issues with design - right on... side zipper I had many side zip boots and most were easy to slip on/out - this is what zip for... this one - forget it! Once tied up - open zip gives you barely an inch to get feet in/out - impossible unless you leave it completely loose... I put on picture my old Magnums just to compare issues I have mentioned... so ZIP - WASTED... Walking - feel too stiff ... breaking in doesn't help much and we got to worst part of it - back heel support - I do have it on all boots I have BUT WHAT IDIOT MADE IT POINTING INWARDS?!? Compared on old Magnums where it wide open on those it clearly points inward and with virtually no cushioning on this part inside it literally grinds into user feet, I got it to bleeding point in just 30 min walk to the store (not even running) sorry but it beyond pale, my old Magnums were worn all day long since new and I literally was forgetting that they are there... Some foam padding there helped but it looks like I have to make heel more like a ski boots and stick almost 1/3" of soles in there to avoid all this issues but then your foot is too high - so upper part of composite toe began rubbing.... After all we're not talking about $50 boots from Walmart (those actually was more comfortable)... I would go to 5.11 to try but they has none in stock (why I order those) or Magnums, just return is closed so I got expensive piece of junk that I can't even donate as someone else will suffer in those ... Sorry but unless you going to get +1 size up and wear 3 socks there .... better don't... some ppl may get better luck w those but clearly some issues with design there.... AMAZON - app hanging every time I tried to add pictures, so will have to move to pc and dd from there...

Didn’t fit - didn’t like them
Unfortunately they didn’t fit my Son so we had to send them back. However, we weren’t keen on them anyway.

Incorrect sizing
They’re being sold as uk size 17, but when they arrived they’re indeed a 16.5 so too small, (I double checked what was ordered). The build quality is good but they’re severely uncomfortable as such totally unwearable.
