Great addition to my "museum" collection!

I have eight decorative items from Design Toscano that I have purchased over the years. They have a few things in common: they are made of high-end materials; they have a historical museum look, weight and feel; and the finesse in the craftsmanship is inconsistent. However, I like to think of it as evidence of handiwork rather than lack of quality control. They are all proudly displayed in my home next to items that cost a lot more but they too will easily enjoyed for generations. Nothing about them say cheap, disposable, or discount, mass produced purchase.

I am tickled! This is perfect for my home. The edges look a bit rough like spill over from the casting but I hope to be able to smooth them down and not show once hung.
