Cheaply made but worked as intended

The parts I received bag label marked it's made by PLPCI in China. My tenant lost the screw on one side and jammed a wrong size screw in it to hold the door in place, while the replacement does work, you can easily tell the parts are cheaply made when comparing to the original Stanley made bracket. I hope this one will last awhile.

Poorly constructed and flimsy

Unfortunately I lost the original in the yard. At least this one was available. The set screw fell out several times during installation. The "threads" in the bracket were so sloppy that any motion of the bracket in the track then gravity backs out the set screw which then falls to the floor. I used a hammer to close the threads in the bracket so the screw would hold tighter. I also had to squeeze the track so the bracket would hold in the track when the screw was tightened. A real PITA to install but if finally did work.

perfect fit

I couldn't find this part in any hardware store in my city. I wish I had checked Amazon first as it was a perfect fit for a few dollars.

Repair part not carried. All I needed was the set screw.
