Incorrect Width

The seal was right on paper, but... - when it was delivered it was held together in a small bundle by a rubber band which left dents and wrinkles in the rubber of the seal. - the width of the part that has to go into the groove of the door was not .485" but .475". This makes it sits loose in the groove of the door. I will have to find a hack to fix that.

Poor packaging and inaccurate specs

The bare-bones packaging - rolled and secured with a tight rubber band - destroys the last 6 inches of material, so only 78" is usable. I had previously ordered a different profile, made by the same manufacturer, which was in a proper retail package and therefore completely usable, so I was surprised when this one was poorly packaged. Also, contrary to the description, there is a line that allows the fin to be trimmed at 3/4", so the minimum fin width is 3/4", not 1".

Good product, packaging could be better

It fits snugly and securely into a 3/8 gap. As another reviewer noted, the way the product was rolled and smashed into the packaging caused the last few inches to be deformed. Luckily I was able to use a portion of the old strip to make up the gap. Otherwise it works great.

Exactly what I was looking for.

Came in good condition, easy to cut to the right size. Based on someones comment that this works on the same screen size as mine (3/8) I got this and it worked perfectly! Didn’t need too much pressure from my thumb to put it in. No special tool needed, just scissors to cut it down to length.

Bug Seal Does the Job

The B 791 Bug Seal met the advertised specifications. It works okay in my application. A tighter fit in the channel where it gets inserted on the screen would have been better. So carefully measure the channel in your screen to ensure you get a nice tight fit. Otherwise, you will have the seal pull away for the screen over time. I don't know if I could have a seal that would have fit any better.
