Good and not so good in our case

We got this for our new dog we had neutered. The first time he was in it while we left for a short time he chewed the front door. There was blood and drool. I took a divider panel from a smaller crate and wire tied it over the bent area. He hasn’t chewed it any more. I believe where the space is larger on that door it was just too easy to fit his mouth in the area and chew. I like the way the doors close and other than that larger space I like it.

Good crate for the price, not recommended for Houdinis

I purchased this 42" crate a year ago for my pup at a local pet store. Lightweight for its size and easy to assemble or collapse if you need to transport it. I found the same crate on Amazon for a wayyyy better price when getting ready for welcoming a second pup. The box arrived with a hole in it, which lined up well with the quarter sized hole I found in the tray. I patched it up with duct tape and am going to put a nice fluffy bed on it so didn't seem worth returning or exchanging, as compared to some other reviews, my crate arrived relatively unscathed. Note that I use these as quiet time caves for the dogs to hang out in my home office during my work hours. They have Ruff Land XLs for when I leave and they need to actually stay in their crate. If you have a smart pup, they will figure out the "lift and slide" lock after watching you use it a few times.

I love this crate

I have used many crates in the past and there is one feature I really like about this crate. In august we got our new family member and since then he has out grown his crate so it was time to buy a bigger one. I also have 2 toddlers that love to open the crate for him. With this crate, it has a feature that in order to open and close the crate, you have to lift the door up to open or close. I love this security feature for the safety of my children and our sweet fur baby!!

Strong crate at great price!

I had difficulty assembling. I've dealt with lots of different crates and didn't have these problems. I'm still not positive the back panel is correct, but I pinched my fingers a few times and it is good enough for me as it is. Even if I made mistakes, it is a very strong, secure crate. My cockapoo will not be using it much, but I will be gone a long time one day shortly and set up the laundry room for her security and comfort. I may use it in the car also.

Sturdy, but difficult to put together. Sharp edges.

I bought this for my 10 month old chihuahua, Willie so he'd have room to lay on his side at night. He's completely house trained, but roams around during the night and prefers to sleep in his crate. (He would leave his bed and go into his crate to sleep during the night. He seemed cramped in his 12" crate.) This crate is very difficult to put together. I pulled and tugged on it to get the ends to lock in place. I won't be collapsing to travel with it. There are several sharp edges at the welds. I suggest you check your crate before putting your dog in it as he/she might get injured. I'll have to exchange this and hope for one without the sharp edges. Otherwise, it's very sturdy and I love the large side door.

Sharp edges on bottom of door frame

Sturdy, easy to set up, easy to clean. The bottom of the door frame has sharp edges, I got scratches on my skin and snags on my clothes while crawling in and out to set it up. My pup brushed his paw across it getting out and gave a little cry. There was no injury but potentially can get injured. Might be able to file it down or cover it.

Awesome crate

This crate is lovely and sturdy as the gauge of the wire is just perfect. My last one wasn't very sturdy despite lasting 10+ years (different brand) so I was very happy about that. I like the fact that you need to lift the gates before latching them so it's like a step security system lol. The bottom tray is sturdy and easy to clean. It was delivered on time and I am very pleased with this crate.

Very versatile Cage

The Cage was surprisingly big enough for our new puppy to grow into. It unfolds and folds up very easy. It is very versatile where you have two doors to choose from where you want your dog to enter into the cage for when it’s time to sleep. It also adjusts as the puppy gets older. Great for Dogs up to 20lbs
