Nice Cover. My experience 3-1/2 year life.

Purchased in November 2019 and replaced in April 2023. Product failed in corners. The cover is not fabric, but plastic that looks like fabric. Recommend spraying with outdoor UV resistant Scotchguard. My experience in a 3 season sunny location was 3-1/2 years to when failure was noticed. Actual life if more likely 2-3 years. If your location is extra sunny the life may be shorter. If you cover with a blue tarp during the winter or bring it inside or your location is mostly cloudy you may get a longer life.

Reordered one runs smaller

I recently reordered this item as there were so many things I liked about it on my fire pit. It held up well for almost two years before beginning to rip (in a climate with cold winters and hot summers), fit well, looked nice and had the Velcro tabs at the bottom to make a perfect fit. The one I reordered did not fit like the one one. It was too snug in the corners, so I would have had to force it on (and risk ripping it), and the logo was a little different too (so maybe a redesign??). I went back to using the amazon brand one as it fits well (although doesn’t look as nice) Just FYI that this new cover may run small on some fire pits.

Be aware you will have to replace this item about every 1 to 2 years

I ordered the 32" square fire pit table cover in Oct 2018. One of the seams came apart almost 2 years later. The company replaced it under their 2-year warranty with no problems. However, one year and 2 months later the replacement now has small rips and tears all over it and needs to be replaced. (The replacement cover is not covered under warranty.) These small rips and tears have allowed water to seep in and rust is starting to appear on the fire pit table. I liked the look and fit of this cover, but I will be looking for a new cover that's more durable. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so it's not like there's a lot of sun damage going on here!

Worth the $ with a great warranty.

This cover has been great for our 100% exposed fire pit. I ordered the first one in 2018, had it replaced in 2019 under warranty (dry rot) and now I’m replacing in 2020. If I had of read the warranty prior to ordering I could have probably squeezed the second one in before the two year warranty ran out. Oh well, for the cost, look, and effectiveness I’ll continue to replace as needed. I’ve never had an issue with it in high winds due to the Velcro along the sides. It’s a great product!
