Reminds me of the one I had as a kids

I bought this mostly for nostalgia. It’s definitely cheap but it’s a good water bottle and I love the old military style.

Durable canteen, the rest is barely half decent

I once slipped on a patch of ice and landed directly on the canteen, it hurt me more than i hurt it. Mind you, i’m just shy of 200 pounds. The pouch is much softer than what I got in a military style school, I’m not sure if it’s more durable but I don’t want to test it. The belt is easy to adjust but has a pin that only goes in premade holes, so if one is too tight and the next is too loose you’re out of luck, and the buckle isn’t what I’m used to but isn’t too bad of a system. Overall, it gets the job done and I have no room to really complain update: A few days after i wrote the review i noticed some rips in the pouch while on the job, photo included. Pouch still functional, will continue to use until failure. update 2: after two months of usage the belt broke, photo included. Will find a replacement

Canteen set

A canteen, sleeve, and belt all for price of some canteens alone. Stansport is a company known for its quality packs, so I would think this product shouldn’t be any less. Only time can tell the wear it can endure.

Good quality, good price...

No weird flavours when drinking from this, so that's good. Everything is good quality and I use it all the time when outdoors. My only issue is that when you fill the canteen with water (especially if you fill it up almost full), it weighs down a lot on the belt (if you use the belt) and that causes the stitching to give out a bit. It hasn't fully came off, but the stitching does wear down pretty fast (especially if used in conjunction with lots of physical movement while wearing it).
