Easy on dogs’s lips and mouth!

These doggy discs are softer around the edge so dogs don’t bloody their lips and gums when catching them. I won’t buy anymore regular dog frisbees. Just don’t allow them to be a chew toy and they will last for months

A little heavy

My dog like to chew up every toy she gets, as soon as possible. Several years ago, I purchased the smaller size frisbee, which held up well, until I killed it with the lawn mower. This time, I decided to get the larger size. My dog is 60+ lbs, but the larger one seems to be harder for her to lock on to, because there is more spinning mass. It's holding up OK, but I wish there was a medium size.

Certainly not a chew toy

I recently got a 5 mos old puppy. We had an older version of this Frisbee toy. It was wonderful as my pup could chew on the exterior material and it held up . She loved this toy and would spend a long time trying to get the orange circle out of the middle. She finally did manage to loosen the center and instead of gluing it back on I decided to buy a new one.I guess they have used an different material now because it was not long before she began to chew the outside and bite off in little pieces. I guess I could recommend this toy for just outside play. Maybe I mistakenly used it for a chew toy because the old one fit that bill so well.

Durable but doesn't float.

Good product. Dog loved it for 20 minutes until she lost it in the muddy river. Didn't even get to try the glow feature.

Durable and flies!

My dog is obsessed with running and catching the frisbee mid air, but likes chomping on it while bringing it back. Most good gliding frisbees are light but made of hard plastic, and they crack and get sharp edges after a few throws. The durable frisbees like Kong don't glide well or stay in the air. This was the first frisbee I found that glides and hasn't been destroyed. It's heavier and thicker than a regular frisbee, so I have to throw it slightly higher and harder to make it fly long enough for my dog to catch it mid air. It's still in one piece after hours of play time! I think they can slightly improve on the design to make it be less heavy and still retain it's durability. My dog seems to love it, and I like not having to buy a few new frisbees every month, so it's worth the money!

More than a great dog frisbee - it's perfect!

I have bought half a dozen Kong frisbees and my border collie has lost all of them. It's not the fault of the Kong frisbees or the dog. They are great frisbees and I highly recommend them for daytime play. But my schedule only allows me to play frisbee with my dog at night. So for my 7th frisbee from Amazon I thgought I'd try this Planet Dog Glow in the Dark Frisbee. I thought I might be able to find it if she ran after a possum or something. Sure enough, I could spot it at 40 feet, even after half an hour without charge. Some of these reviews are not fair. This frisbee is pretty tough. As tough as a Kong, as far as I can tell. My dog isn't going to hurt this thing, and she has big chompers like scissors in the back of her mouth. She carries it everywhere. She loves it like Linus loves his blanket. Clearly, its her favorite toy. The other thing is it's a glow-in-the frisbee. You charge it up on a table lamp then go outside. It will glow for half an hour or longer. Brighter at first, but it always stood aout against the grass. That's really all that I expected, and that's great. You don't need a flashlight. After half an hour on a dark night, I can still spot this thing at 40 feet. I don't lose it. I don't lose my frisbees at night, anymore. That's why I bought it. I don't know how much longer than half an hour the glow will last. I don't play frisbee for more than 30 minuites at night, so it doesn't matter. So it's perfect in all respects. But the most important thing is: what does the dog think? It's her favorite toy after one day. Five stars all around, baby. Five stars. It's perfect!

My dog absolutely loves his new toy. This brand continually puts out quality products for our companions. He's a tough chewer and this will give him months of fun.

Dog frisbee

This is great, Skye loves toys! Her favourites being stuck and lid. She will play and play with a sweet tub lid. The frisbee, reminds me of the heavy duty plastic one I had as a kid. The outer edge however is a rubber so it doesn't hurt her gums. It's a good size for a Collie and a good weight for throwing and fetching. She doesn't really chew it, more an excited clapping motion of her jaws, which with the lid being thin it gets between her teeth.

Not a great product

I had high hopes for this, as my dog loves a frisbee, but in the dark mornings We spend a lot of time looking for our normal toy. However, this product is not the solution. Is manufactured as a composite between glow in the dark dark material and a hard plastic centre, unfortunately the two materials are quite different in terms of their flexibility and density. This has effective making the frisbee almost impossible to throw. In addition if the frisbee gets wet either from grass or saliva, the glow in the dark edge becomes very slippy making it even even more difficult to throw. The product could be improved by adding texture to the glow in the dark portion, and then reducing the weight of the central section. However in its current form in my experience it’s very disappointing.

Does NOT glow in the dark

Extremely disappointed. First thing, it says it glows in the dark. It had no instructions on the package so I assumed I would just place it close to the window for the day. Arrived at night, no even an onze of glowing. NOTHING. Second, it says on the packaging it has a mint smell? Even with my face in it, there is none. Last but not least, it is not durable. See picture after ONE 15min playing session. The disc is not even round anymore, it's all wavy and will probably flight badly. Might last for1-2-3 (top) more sessions and then I'll have to throw it out. What a waste of money. This is very very disappointing.

Leider nicht das Erhoffte: Leuchtet (fast) nicht. Flugeigenschaften von einem Stein. Verkäufer haben das Ding nett zurückgenommen. Da gibt's noch was zu entwickeln. // Empfehlung: LED-Leuchtball (bei Fressnapf) in Tennisballgröße. Genial im Winter, bei Dunkelheit. (Aber auch selbst verbessert: Schnur dran, Öl für abnehmbare Kappe, sonst nie wieder zu laden.)
