It's ok

I like the look of the rug. I have only had a few months and the edges are curling up. It doesn't want to lie flat anymore. This is a tripping hazard and tripping by a wood stove is not safe.

Hard time getting it to lay flat

It is pretty. The only complaint I have is it was hard to get it to lay flat. I had heavy books on it for days. It is better now but sometimes wants to go up a little. Just a little. Don’t let that stop you from buying it though. It’s a nice rug.

Beautiful colors by the fireplace

We are walnut farmers and heat with our wood stove, so it gets a lot of use and can be messy. A darker color (like the black/floral pattern we had before) shows the inevitable ash and wood debris (and white dog hair from our Great Pyrenees!). This softer color is lovely, and still looks classic. We really like it there.

Attractive

It's adequate size and lays flat. It's a bit pricey though for a pad that is just fire retardant.

Looks good and protects wood floor

We have a Ben Franklin stove and just installed wood flooring in the living room where it is. The hearth rug fits nicely and goes quite well with the wood floor. It's protected the wood very well.

Works good

Cat immediately got comfortable when I put it down. Carpet works as described and protects floor.

Far from Fire Proof!!

First fire..couple small sparks, burnt right through. Good thing was watching. Looks ok but for $135 should be able to withstand a couple sparks. I would never buy again
