Placed in a sedate location, this faucet is a good mix of functionality and style

We are considering purchasing another one for our kitchen, as we like the look and utility of this new Peerless in our old washroom. The included adapter arms made it easy to fit level in our old washroom sink backboard… where the previous owners of the house had drilled access line holes incorrectly spaced both horizontally and vertically. It has added a bit of brightness and relative modern style to the washroom sink area for sure, and with more utility. Others have mentioned the "outrageous flow restriction" of the aerator for this faucet. This can be somewhat remedied by removing the aerator if one must. When we tried that, it improved flow from a little over 1 GPM upwards to about 2GPM with no ill effects. However, since we live in a drought prone area, we just put the aerator back on. It's nice that the design of the spigot does not spread water far and wide without the aerator on, as many spigots (like our old one) are not so forgiving. As another reviewer mentioned, the spout swivel isn't as robust as it could be, and certainly nothing as strong as the integrated brass swivel arm of the 100 year old faucet from our washroom that this new one replaced (and which we likely would have kept if it wasn't for that antique faucet's worn out integrated brass threading). So, yes, climbing children or rowdy teens at home, or in some other heavy public placement then, yeah, the spout and the handles on this newer model Peerless seem like they might not stand up to 'being used as a launching pad to high adventure'. Placing the faucet in a sedate location, it demonstrates a good trade-off between style and functionality.

Love this

I will admit this was extremely easy to install for me yet I am a person who repairs/install things for homeowners. I picked this out for a laundry room because the one we had was a very old style and even though I rebuilt the old on for some reason my grandson just could not turn it off so it did not drip. This new one is easy to use and turns off every time when he uses it. Love the lever handles which are almost a requirement when age and arthritis get you.

Feels kinda cheap

The metal on the faucet is so lightweight, it feels kinda like a mixture of plastics and metal. Also, if you have an old house with old plumbing, like say a house built in year 1926, don't assume its going to be easy to replace that old faucet with this one, I had to eventually call a plumber. But, hey everything these days seems to cost more and be of a lower build quality than the old days. So, compared to other faucets in the price range, its not "bad", but overall its not great either.

Nice looking

It's so very difficult to find a wall mounted fixture for a kitchen. I'd been trying for years to find a replacement for the old worn out fixture I had. The few available look like they were intended for utility sinks. This one looks very nice and was reasonably priced. The faucet neck is wider than the one it replaced. I use a swivel aerator to compensate for this, and it works and looks fine. Water flow is about the same as the one it replaced

Beautiful

I live in an 200yr old farm house and it has the original cast iron sink. To try and buy a new tape the will fit a wall mount and look right is impossible. This is beautiful and works amazing.
