Great product

A great memento, and works well

My cat is elderly and not doing well. I know when it's time to let him go I'm going to want mementos of happier times, so I purchased this. The ink pad works REALLY well with no mess and a clear print. The frame isn't super great quality but I was surprised that there was a double mat (one white mat with a slightly smaller brown mat behind it, which looks very nice) and an extra white mat in case you mess up on the first try. I might get a different frame if I wind up disliking it but for now this one is fine. At this price you can't really ask for anything better. The combination of mats, glass, and backing feel sturdy and secure in the frame. Use a bit of tape to make sure the photo and two mats are aligned the way you like before putting it into the frame, if you try to do it by just guessing the brown mat might be slightly off center. I recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive, cute memento that is easy to use and kindly provides a backup in case of mistakes. Unfortunately, my cat's pawprint looks like he's flipping me off. It's not a problem with the product, it's just my cat's paw. It's not the adorable little paw print I'd hoped for but he's a grumpy old man and I think it suits him. I've put a picture of him sitting in a wastebasket in the frame and the combination makes me laugh. You do NOT need to press down on the paw on the ink transfer pad. A light touch will be enough, and form a more natural looking print. Pressing on the paw with any significant force will spread the pads out slightly and make the print look smudgy. Also, if your pet is a jerk, it might look like they're flipping you off.

Great Frame, bad packaging

The frame and concept is perfect. The packaging, however, could use work. It came with papers for the prints, but they were folded with the instructions and super creased. I’m lucky I had alternative paper to use because I purchased this last minute when I realized I had to put down my cat.

Measure your pup’s paw first

I learnt the hard way to make sure my boy is laying down before using it! I tried doing the ink print while he was standing and even did an attempt to to do it while I pushed it up to his paw. Poor guy ran away! I have to order the ink part again to get the paw print! Would recommend, just make sure your pup is laying down. I have a shepherd husky mix and unfortunately a very small portion of his paw didn’t make the cut! I have to get an ink pad that’s a little bigger to get his full paw! Frame is absolutely lovely and was pretty bummed to not get the paw print to go in it

Sweet and easy

This was quick an easy to use. My best fur guy didn't love his paw being held/pressed on, but it only took a moment so it wasn't a problem. I've already gotten lots of compliments. Simple but incredibly sweet.

Wonderful Product

This is a simple, elegant way to create a memorial for your pets. The frame is sturdy and the inserted frame borders are nice sturdy quality. I did not use the clay as my pet passed before I was able to do that. I am fortunate though that the emergency vet actually took his print and stamped his name into it for me. The frame itself is a bit more red in person but it could have just been the batch that mine came from. I highly recommend this product. It is proudly displayed on my entertainment center in my living room and blends nicely with the rest of the décor in our home.

Perfect gift to save the day

Awesome gift ! Saw something similar in a social media platform, offered at a higher price. I quickly bought in to it and AFTER paying it said it would take 2 months to get here. Yeah. ABSOLUTELY NOT. I was stuck, i came on to amazon and found a better product and received the same week during the holiday seasons . If i can give it higher than a 5-star i would !

Super easy, but can't turn it sideways.

This turned out so cute, but you cannot turn it sideways. I have so many more cute vertical pics of our dog than horizontal, so I just had to lean it against a wall. It's still super cute!

Ordered so I could get a paw print of my cat before she passed away and I got a black blob of ink instead. Tried a few times and none of them turned out. Good concept but unfortunately does not work. And if you have a large dog it won’t even fit their paw. Measured it against our Bernese Mountain X and his paw didn’t even fit on the pad
