Way better than most! Worth the extra cost.

As soon as you touch it, you will immediately know it is much better quality than most of the others. Installation was super easy, and the flame distribution made my grill like new again!

Definitely not universal, see - *UPDATED

I got these because my grill was listed as compatible with these. I have the Gas2Coal grill from Lowe’s/charbroil. Lowe’s sells these same ones for $1 more/ea. I needed to replace all 3. As it turned out my grill was severely neglected and needed an overhaul as you can see in my pics. These are NOT universal. This job required lots of tools. I used a spatula to assist in loosening the debris all over the place and a shop vac to clean it all up. I used needle nose vice grip pliers to hold the original cotter pins and a rubber mallet to hit the pliers to get the rusted pins out. I used a steel brush on that same are to get it clean for the replacement install. To get these to fit my grill, I took a Dremel to the back of them and cut a slot so they could fit over the cotter pin tab. Though, these have no cotter pin, so I had to get some. The size of these tube is much smaller than the original - so I followed another posts advice and used a hose clamp over the igniter. I could not install the igniter in the same place as the flame catch box would never propane for ignition. These don’t come with the cross flow pieces. Had to get them separate. I’ll update when I get those installed. UPDATE: got the cross flow pieces installed - the “universal” kit, mush like this burner kit is not universal. Required a hakzall and multiple trips to the hardware store to find screws. As of yet, I have not found the right ones. And they are not included with either kit.

Wrong picture. I call foul.

I was disappointed with this product. I was expecting it to be the one in the picture for this type of burner. This is what it actually was. This type doesn’t fit my grill. Hopefully the seller with attach the correct picture.

Easy install. Definitely should be advertised as “fits most grills” not universal

These universal burners are a breeze to install unless you have a small three burner Charbroil Classic grill. The Classic has a 12” burner. Twenty minutes, a dremel with a cutoff wheel, and a drill with a small bit later, I have a working grill again. I only gave the three star review as “universal” and “fits most grills” on the packaging are conflicting statements.
