Oregon 98-671 MTD, Sears i Troy-Bilt G3 wymienne ostrze do kosiarki 17-7/8 cala, czarne

3.4/5

Not quite right
Blade spines perfect when turned by hand on my 33” cub cadet 760es but when running hits the deck Didn’t want to return so I grounded down the sides trying my best to keep them as Balanced as possible there is still a slight tap hopping it wears in

Reasonably Sharp on Arrival.
Pay no attention to those that have said these blades arrive dull. This is not a pair of scissors. They won’t appear sharp to your fingertip but they are plenty sharp enough to cut a blade of grass when rotating 200 mph on your mower. Just install and try them. If you think you need to cut your grass with a razor sharp mower blade…you are wrong.

One blade had no edge at all and the other a dull edge. And they don't fit the deck properly.
UPDATED 7/14/2019: I'm upping to 3 stars instead of 1. It turns out the blade didn't hit the deck, but instead hit the mulching plug. Since it's plastic there's less of a chance of any lasting damage. The mulching plug is gashed, but still works. And pushing it up a little resolved the hitting. The blades DO work very well now that they're sharp, hence the 3 stars. It just required a lot of work to get them there due to one blade having no edge at all and the other having a dull coated edge. I'd say get these if you have a rotary grinder so you can sharpen them and make sure to open them well before you're going to install them so you can check for dud blade like I got and exchange it. Otherwise, you have the literally grind an edge onto it. It takes a while to grind 1/8" thick hardened steel into a clean edge. ORIGINAL: I bought two of these to replace my OEM blades for a Cub Cadet CC760es. For one of the blades, it came as others had noted...a dull edge with a coating on it. But, the second "blade" had no edge at all. Where the edge should have been on both sides of the blade was just the ~1/8 in flat steel surface. If I hadn't already dropped the deck I would have just returned them both (wish I did now), but instead I sharpened the dull one and ground an edge onto the other (which takes a while with a rotary grinder). Only to find after I installed them that they are too big for the deck. They spin manually ok (though come really close to the deck), but when I run them on the mower at speed I can hear them ticking the deck somewhere. I'd give these negative stars if I could. The no edge blade is ridiculous.

It actually works better than i hoped
I've tried mulching blades in the past and don't really know why I tried again. These are amazing compared to previous blades I've purchased. Didn't even clump when I used them shortly after it had rained

Made in U.S.A., sharpen yourself and good to go
Made in USA not Chinese junk. Doesn't come very sharp because it's painted, but easy to sharpen. I bought 2 because my 33 inch cub cadet takes 2 blades. Fits correctly and definitely cuts better than standard (non-mulching) blade.

Awesome blades will buy another set just for extra. Easy to install lest than 5 minutes you would have to work hard to get this wrong

Sharpen and get to mowin
As other have said they don't come very sharp, but they are easy to sharpen since they have a uniform edge. I spent less than 5 minutes with a grinding wheel and put them on the mower. Grass was well overdue for a cut and these things not only got it done, but left a nice nutritious mulch behind to keep the yard healthy. Highly recommended.

Put en edge on them, and go to town.
Put these on a Cub Cadet 760 ES walk behind. To the advice of other reviewers, I did put a sharp edge on the blades before installing them, as they come fairly dull. I can't believe the difference from my old blade; these really cut well and transformed my machine overnight. I ran it with the plug (the side cover) and it didn't even bog down in taller wet grass. When using the regular side skirt, it really runs smooth and sends out a stream of fine green particulates from the side, which I'm debating using full time instead of the side plug.. Good for your lawn and the environment, nothing is as wasteful as bagging up grass clippings and leaves for the garbage truck to pick up and haul off to the landfill.
