This sprayer quits way early

This sprayer quits way early n, The front part of it is still working, fine I would guess, but the plunger valve the controls the amount of water that goes to the front of the gun is completely stuck. The trigger is plastic and it was bending when I would apply pressure to unstick it so I took the whole adjuster screw out, found a nut that fits the threaded plunger end and then locked on to it with a vise grip and tried to pull it out because it;s stuck completely shut. It will not budge. i'm no small fry by the way. so I thought. id go one further, I put the gun in a vise and locked on to the nut again with a vise grip and struck the grip with a hammer. still nothing. there should be no reason this thing should be this far gone, it;s 1 season old is all. Well Not even that old really since I bought it in the middle of the summer last year. near as I can tell it has fused or expanded inside there so far that it will not come undone. I paid extra for a good sprayer and I got the same crap as if I had paid 3x's less. thats what I am getting at. it was great when it was working.

The two plastic side pieces at the top rear that pull out the metal plunger for more flow are a weak spot over time.
