Exactly what I've been looking for
I have a 3 year old and 18 month old who've started squabbling over the one silver fork we have (which is really too small for 3 year old's hands), searching for quality silverware is a more challenging task than I expected, these are PERFECT and I love that they are made here in the USA. I love how well each piece fit in my littles' hands and that my 3 year old can start getting practice with a butter knife that she can actually control, gaining autonomy where she is ready. We will absolutely be getting another set! The heart punches are absolutely charming, vs others that are just too babyish, not feeling cohesive into the family flatware.

I bought three different types of Oneida child flatware: Child Moda to match my own Moda flatware set (and replace our disintegrating Gerber Graduates), Child/Baby Chateau to match my mother’s Chateau flatware set to use when grandchildren visit, and Little Love Child/Baby as a baby gift for a sibling. I am thrilled! The pieces are beautiful, high quality and adorable when compared to the adult versions. Between the three types I purchased, the Moda is heaviest with Little Love a close second. The Chateau set is lighter and the daintiest - truly adorable (and the lighter weight should not be taken to mean it is lower in quality, just a more delicate design). The baby Chateau fork is to die for ????. Super tiny. I highly recommend any of these sets. My kids are 6 and 8 and my motivation for purchasing the Moda Child was to give my kids useful knives - the adult size knives are really difficult for them to use, and I want them to be cutting up foods (like pancakes) for themselves. I plan on using the Child size spoons myself when eating ice cream out of small bowls ????.

Cute, but not practical
I bought this set because my 2 year old all of a sudden decided that he wanted to use my silverware instead of his own plastic silverware. I thought it would be good to get him a set that looked more like our silverware but was still small enough for him to manage. This brand was the closest I could find and it is adorable, but not practical at all. He would constantly grab it at the smallest point, making it extremely difficult for him to maneuver. My son has pretty good motor skills for his age, but he could not use these without difficulty and I chose not to persevere until he figured it out. We already struggle enough with getting him to eat that I decided to send them back before it deterred him even more. If I were to buy again, I would skip this set and purchase just the larger child sized utensils for 3+ year old.

Delighted with the Set
This is the cutest and most durable set of flatware for a baby growing into a toddler. It comes in a very attractive and sturdy gift box. I love it and you will, too!

These fit nicely in the hands of my 5- and 3-year old ...
These fit nicely in the hands of my 5- and 3-year old girls. The child-sized pieces will be fine for them for a couple more years until they graduate to adult flatware. Only the long-handled baby spoon is so small that it's hard to use in any application other than feeding a baby; for now the kids are able to use the baby-sized fork and spoon, but they're a little small in the hands of the kindergartner. The pieces have a nice heft to them and the cutout shape makes it a snap to quickly sort them out from our adult flatware. Once these appeared in the flatware drawer, both girls declared our hodgepodge of IKEA, Munchkin, and OXO rubber-handled kid cutlery to be "baby stuff" and will always pick these when available. I can't blame them; from a quality standpoint these are in a different class.

Quality flatware for children
Oneida maintains their standard of quality in this product. It is the perfect size for toddlers and young children. Washes well in dishwasher. This flatware could be handed down for generations!
