very nice and secures your valuables

the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the key is not all that well made and the locking mechanism sticks. its nice and heavy and holds a good amount of items. as far as the fire resistant goes I pray I will never have to find out if it is. because of the weight im sure it is

Great smaller safe.

We purchased this small safe for added fire protection for important papers and jewelry. It is pretty light and compact, a step up from a fire resistant bag. By itself it could easily be stolen but it is inside a larger fireproof safe. We are very happy with this purchase.

Small enough to take with you

I have a bigger one that I lost the keys to it so decided on a more portable one. What I don't like is it needs to be wider from the front to the back so I can put 2 rows of envelopes in it.

This is a great product.

This appears to be a great product, but I was surprised that a fire proof safe would be constructed of plastic. Anyone choosing this product needs to know that if it is ever subjected to a fire, it will be destroyed and will need to be smashed open to recover your hopefully safe valuables. If this happens, the company states that it will then provide the original owner with a free replacement. Hopefully we won't ever need to test that theory.

It works, its portable and hopefully will never be tested in a fire!

The Safe appears to do what it says, however, unless it is tested in a fire (and hopefully that will never happen), I cannot be certain that it will last 30 minutes with the digital contents inside staying intact - without being fried. I am more than happy with this fire-safe and it is good value for money.
