Long-Lasting and Great at Night

I love this collar for my dog - it's strong, great quality! The reflective feature works very, very well and it's just a really pretty collar - a nice light pink. I exchanged the medium one I bought for the same thing in large. I have a mixed-breed dog, she's medium sized - the size of a pittie I'd say, doesn't have a crazy-huge neck, but large fits her perfectly -the medium is for smaller doggies. I LOVE THIS COLLAR. It's the second one I've purchased - the first got dirty and rusty through no fault of it's own, it had been in a muddy river for days in a row. It's still usable - as her muddy-playing collar. It's a great product.

Perfect for Pitbulls!

I love the style of a training collar, but I wanted something with more padding than the last one we had. About gave up finding anything with what few features I wanted for perfection. Then I remembered to check Amazon & found Exactly What I Wanted! It fits my pitbull perfectly, is strong enough to last through all the playing and exploring she does, as well as the actual training. I absolutely love the reflective bone design, especially in the dark when I let her out before bed, and she wants to play hide-&-seek, so we'll have to bring out the flashlight. The bones betray her every time! And the faster I find her, the faster she forgets the family of wild bunnies at the fence. I don't anticipate having to replace it soon, but if & when, we'll be repeat customers.

Great functionality, but expect color fade

We bought this a few months ago, and the light pink color has substantially faded. Still feels and functions fine, but expect some color change. Update: 2y and many rolls in mud/who-knows-what + washes later, the collar still functions fine, but the color and smell are well past fully cleanable. It's time to replace it. We got 3y out of our first one of these. The purple lasted longer.

Yanking, stubborn corgi scores on this great Martigale collar!

I'm so, so pleased with this collar. I chose this particular size after receiving a Martingale collar with should-have-fit dimensions, that didn't from a different vendor. It fits my beefy corgi's neck. She's super strong, super stubborn and is a yanker. So, I wanted to try a Martingale design instead of the more invasive and uncomfortable chain choke collar. This collar is well made, attractive, and works. Unlike a choke chain collar; I can leave this on her as her primary collar. I'd recommend ordering a size that doesn't top out at your dog's measured neck size.

I really wanted to give this a good review. The collar gets a 5 star review, but the PINK COLLAR, 2 stars. It was dingy and dirty in less than a month, and this was during the winter, not during the summer when dogs play outside and get dirty. I was really disappointed. I researched like crazy before buying it. It has a good reflective strip, I just don't want a dingy ugly collar on my dog. If you want a pretty pink collar, don't get this one. If you want a darker collar, this is probably a great collar.

Best reflective collar

I have a black lab and she is practically invisible at night. I tried other reflective collars and the reflective part always wore off. This has lasted very well. She has been wearing it for about 8 months now and it is still as reflective as when it first came. It even survived getting run over (not attached to my dog, thank goodness) in a busy intersection. I like the martingdale collar because I can keep the collar pretty loose during the day but easily grab her collar and pull her close to me if I need to.

Would buy it again.

We bought this collar for our new (to us) 3 year-old Labrador. His leash manners were not the best so a martingale collar is very helpful to ensure that he does not slip it off and disappear. I take him running in the dark a fair amount, so the reflective bones on this collar make him a little more visible to cars. The build quality on this collar is very good. It is durable and the colors do not seem to fade.
