Perfect for hunting season
We have a very sweet but very stupid dog who loves to run around the family farm in Wisconsin. He’s exactly the type of dog that would accidentally get shot by a well meaning hunter in need of some better glasses. This jacket was the perfect high-vid solution! His other coat fits under it for the chilly days and the little pocket holds some poo bags and treats perfectly. He’s about 80 lbs and we could’ve probably gone down a size, but he doesn’t mind.

The size was quite large. Bigger than I wanted but the sturdy quality was perfect for my ruff and tumble guy. The closures are very strong.

By far the most practical
A true Carhartt, the shell holds up to the elements and brush, the color is by far the best to keep them safe and seen.. the Velcro and stitching stay in tact even after a winter beating. Well worth every cent ,I own 3 of these. 65 lb dog she wears a large with room to grow.

a great coat for when my dog and I hike together
This dog coat is durable and keeps my dog warm. I use and trust Carhartt for my own winter coat. I bought the orange coat so that my dog is extremely visable while we are on the trail. In case of an accident or emergency the coat will help a search team find us. The coat's size, XL, gives my dog plenty of flexability and freedom of movement.

He’s so handsome
Held up in the blizzard of 2022. He loves the snow and while 50 inches were a bit much for everyone this kept him warm and dry while he helped us shovel. He will be set to go hiking with us, now that we have dug out.

Works great for my german shepherd cross
This coat fits well, is easy to get on and off, and does no restrict my dogs movements. It durable and cuts the wind effectively. It comes in many colours, but the bright orange colour makes my dog very visible as she prowls the tree and bushes on our property. This is not a harsh climate coat, though, as I mentioned previously, it does cut the wind. We get -30 C (-22 F) temperatures here in northern Alberta so I am going to get my dog a polar fleece vest to go under it. This coat is unmistakably high quality in materials and manufacture. I am looking at other Carhartt products and definitely recommend this coat. I have to add that my dog looks adorable in it.

Just perfect !
A well fitting , extremely easy to put on Carhartt on insulated dog jacket . It keeps our fair weathered Doberman toasty and warm, and also stays in place . We will be purchasing another one , two thumbs up !
