worked perfectlly

We never had a face plate for the water valve box on our washing machine. Didn't come with the house, and it wasn't all that visible, so I had just spackled the gaps in, and used wall paint . This never looked right and when my wife wanted to put in new coutertops/back splash in the laundry room, that job really looked tacky. Found this, got it in one day (great vendor), and snapped it in place. Worked perfectly and things look so much better. finishing touches like this don't stand out and attract your eyes like the old spackle job did. Wife is very pleased.

Faceplate was too big.

The faceplate was missing from the hookup box in "my new house". The dimensions for this one seemed about right, but I didn't know the brand or model I needed. However, my house is around the same age as Christie H, and my box looks identical, so I took a chance on this one. Unfortunately, it was a little too large for my box, so I had to cut it to size and glue it on. The hookup box now looks much better, but I wish there had been a way to find the faceplate I needed.
