Nice Piece of Art

Having visited 5 Yucatan Mayan sites recently, this is a great remembrance piece- not to big or too small (it's sitting in a place that greets my wife and I when we come home from work) the rain god has an almost "Mona Lisa" smile in my handcrafted version. Signed by the Artist, Angel Ceron, this is a unique fusion of Maya and Toltec styles, reminiscent especially of Chichen Itza, which I have visited twice in the last 30 years. With much wonder. National Geographic is one of the sponsors of Novica, and NG has recently sponsored a LADAR satellite mapping of Mayan Ruins in Northern Guatemala (finding over 61,000 structures there alone!).

A Special Keepsake

I have traveled to various Mayan and Aztec archaelogical sites in Central America and have wanted a Chac Mool keepsake for my coffee table; this one fit the bill perfectly -- just the right size, nicely priced and well-packaged for shipment -- it arrived in excellent condition. The artist did a fine job, and I am proud of this purchase.
