Very light Low lumen Light

Nite Eze and Nebo( another brand) have become my favorite companies to get lights from. This Nite Eze product is price point, durable, and fun. The uses are endless. From wrapping around chairs to find at night events to a lighted non obtrusive light to make a pathe to cooler or firewood at camp. Why not 5 stars... actually I rate the product itself as a 5 star. I wish they had option of a battery/controller on each end. That way you can have double the battery life by using one controller, double the brightness when using both controllers, and have option of two colour choices.

For Glow Stick Lovers

Cool light! So when I go camping I usually order myself a pack of 100 glow sticks. You know, the bracelet ones with the connectors so you can make necklaces and connect whatever colors together? Yeah. So I’ll crack a bunch of those and hang them all over camp, on tree limbs, giant boulders, car side mirror, the dog. Why? Because it’s FUN. So I saw this light and was like Yeah this is right up my alley. It’s the width of a shoelace, the round ones (as opposed to flat). And for the haters, correct it is not something to read by - do you use a glow stick to read? No. You don’t. Thing is, glow sticks are actually quite bright in the pitch black of night. Ever try to sleep with 17 of them hanging on everything in the tent? Anyway, consider this along the lines of glow stick fun and you won’t be disappointed. They need more colors. Now I won’t be wasting plastic when the crack sticks die.

Not bright

Really not very impressive. Wouldn’t but ever again not recommend. It’s not bright and battery only last one night and half. Don’t waste your money.

Great mood light with endless applications!

Never get hit by a car again! Or be the brightest one at the night ride. This light is bright especially after charge. The battery pack disconnects from the fiber optic line so you can charge the battery without having to unwind or take down the light. Just screw the battery pack on after charge and you’re good to go! Great product

Laughably dim. Novelty item, not a viable source of light.

This is of limited usefulness as a light source. It is somewhat useful as a locator for a campsite (just look for the light string that should be 10’, but only appears to be 2-3’, and you’ll know it’s your site). There is almost no use whatsoever as an actual light source. If your eyes were heavily night-adjusted, you’d have a modicum of light to see your way around, but even then, it’s underwhelming. Great idea, terrible implementation. Mine is going back. As long as you purchase this as an expensive novelty item, and not a meaningful light source, you won’t be disappointed.

Not up to Nite Ize standards

Illumination dims along the length of the line. The last 18-24 inches aren't really lighted. Far too much money for the product; especially with this deficiency. I am sorry this is so, because I have a lot of Nite Ize products that work as advertised. I had hoped to purchase several of them for my camping setup after testing this one. That isn't going to happen!

It is exactly what they describe it as.

I thought I was going to take it camping, and I still might, but so far I've just strung it between a couple things on the wall over my bed and use it as a nightlight. I've had it for weeks and have been using it for about a half hour every single night and have not had to recharge it yet. It is what it is and I actually bought another one in white since then. I suggest this thing for you if it looks like a thing you want because it is what it is. Enjoy!
