I love how classic and simple they are

I recently wore these for my August 2014 wedding. I love how classic and simple they are. A few months before my wedding I would put on a pair of very thin socks and wear them around my house to break them in a bit. I'm glad I did that, but my feet were killing me at the end of the night. I wore them from about 3 pm- 11 p.m., and then took them off for the rest of our reception (most people had taken their heals off by then). I put my feet in them to walk to our car and they hurt way too bad to even do that. I probably won't wear them ever again but for the price and a few hours I think they were totally worth it!

Pretty, but ouch!

I love the lines and the look of these shoes, plus the hard-to-find bright yellow color was exactly what I needed. I received lots of compliments on them when I wore them to a rehearsal dinner. The downside is that they were not terribly comfortable. The toe opening rubbed right on the cuticle of my big toe. When I wore them around the house to break them in a little, I noticed that they were rubbing up and down on my heels. So on the night I wore them, I used those gel strips that you stick in the back of the shoe (heel grips). This may have been a mistake, as I ended up with two blisters on the inside of my heels from the gel strips rubbing on them. Maybe they run a tad large, but I always wear a 7 1/2 in Ninas and could not have worn a 7 in these. They are beautiful shoes, great if you are not going to be doing much walking around or dancing!

Want a shorter heel, these may be for you!

I bought these to wear to a wedding. I can't wear the high heeled shoes any longer. These didn't have a very formal look to them, and I suppose the shorter heel didn't help. There is nothing fancy about these shoes. I had thought of adorning them with a rhinestone pin, but at this price, I don't think I should have to spend more money to make them look nicer. The color of the fabric is pretty. I think they run large. I normally wear a 7 1/2, and I was walking out of this pair. The fit may be affected by the cutout on one side. Generally I like Nina shoes, and find them well made. Oops! I just noticed that I got these shoes at a good price on Amazon. I had originally seen them in stores for around $90, hence the comment about price, above.

Nice shoes for the price.

I purchased the color blue and it looks exactly as the photo but the size I received didn't match. One is half inch larger than the other which in this type of sandals the fit must be right otherwise it will just keep coming off your feet and the gap is too obvious to tell the difference. Hence, only 4 stars... The heels are not too high, and not too low either. It has enough height but still comfortable to stand, walk and perhaps even dance as they are dressy and classy looking to wear at the wedding or special occasions. The price is also reasonable for the look, style and comfort. I hope this review helps...

Cute and comfy

I typically steer clear of peep toe shoes, but I thought I'd give these a try since Nina are usually higher quality shoes…. Once I got them, I tried them on and noticed that they fit a little too large. My heels kept slipping out of the back. However, I didn't feel that my toes were too cramped and that I'd be able to wear these for an entire evening. The heel height is actually very comfortable to walk in.. I'm a tall girl and I simply cannot walk in anything over 3.5"! I like these shoes, but due to the size issue, I have to exchange them for a half size smaller…. Overall, I would recommend these shoes, but just double check your size to save yourself some time!

Good price on very nice shoe

Purchased for wedding in late summer so I'm just breaking them in at home for now. I do see how some may have trouble with the heel sliding up and foot slipping out. You definitely can not walk like you are wearing boots or tennis shoes or run in these. However, as my grandmother said "walk like a lady: small steps, weight on the ball of your foot - the heel is only for stability while standing still," then you won't have any problems. The heel height is great, very comfortable. I do need to break them in since the open toe rubs a bit on my big toe. Otherwise the fit was perfect.

Cheaper than bridal store shoes, but just as nice, if not better!

Shoes were exactly as pictured. I ordered a size 7.5, as I generally wear a 7 or 7.5. The 7.5 was a little big on me, so I added gel heel pads. I was in a hurry to get these shoes for being a bridesmaid in a wedding. I received many compliments on them and the color closely matched the official wedding color. A dyed pair of shoes from the bridal store would have cost me $80+. I paid for expedited shipping an these shoes and spent have the price! Plus, they were comfortable enough that I will definitely wear them again!

I love this brand!

I purchased this brand for my first prom 7 years ago and I loved the shoe. I held onto them and wore them whenever I needed little black pumps. Then, I went through a "4 inches isn't high enough!" phase. Now that I'm getting married, and my fiance is barely taller than me, a small heel is perfect. I am also very laid-back and low-maintenance, so a simple yet classy heel was exactly what I needed for my wedding. I haven't gotten married, yet (that's why I give a 4 and not a 5), but these shoes will look great with my dress and I am happy to have them in time for my first fitting!

Great Shoe for the Amazon price!

I originally ordered this shoe in an 8.5M as I have tried on Nina brand evening shoes and 8.5 (my usual size) was perfect in store. The 8.5 came promptly but was a half-size too long. I ordered the 8M and it is a great fit. The shoe is as shown, the perfect shade of dark navy, looks lovely on and the 2 1/2 inch heel will be exactly what I can manage! The fabric/material of the shoe is stiff so I expect to have to break it in a bit before the event. Not sure I would pay the price being asked for this shoe in stores ($112 plus) but it was what I needed and a great price on Amazon. I am very happy with it.

Very comfortable but colour is misleading

Ordered these shoes hoping they would be the violet/ purple shade as shown in the picture on the website....they were more fuchsia/pink in colour! However the fit was perfect and I fell in love with these shoes- so I decided to keep them! I ordered a size 5 and they fit exactly right!

Shoes are very nice but far too small. I would reorder the next size but then they come from a different supplier based in USA. So am looking for alternatives :(
