if your looking for cheap semiprecious stone look in the kids section!

This would have been over 100 bucks if i biought this from one of those amazon stone specialty companies that you always get when you look up stones. This is a hidden gem as far as value!

Pretty good selection at a good price. They could use a little better quality control as many pieces are under the advertised size of 3/4 inch. Great for crafting.

Great variety and price!

I’ve ordered the 5 lb box before but in the 1/2” size and it was a good amount and selection. This time I got the 5 lb 3/4” and it was even better. There were about 300 stones and the variety was amazing. We got tigers eye, amethyst, rose quartz, regular quartz, gray chalcedony, dragons blood, beautiful red jasper and agates, sodalite, blue quartz, citrine, rose quartz, magnesite, rhodonite, aventurine, moss agate, carnelian, snow flake obsidian, black obsidian, unakite, Dalmatian jasper, hematite and yellow jasper. Most bulk orders are really heavy on one type of mineral like quartz, but this was just the right amount of each. It also comes with a mineral ID poster and learning guide! I am an Earth Science teacher and I order these for a Gumball machine I have in my classroom. Students can get a stone for $0.25. It’s hard to find quality rocks that allows me to sell them at that price. I will definitely be order again.

I very much liked this box

I loved this mystery of stones inside. What is in the booklet is mostly in the box, its random for sure, a lot of nice mixed shaped stones inside. I did see some duplicates of the same size and shape, kind of made me wonder a bit but for the most part I loved this box. Can't wait to get the bigger stones next.

Wonderful set, good variety and size

This is gonna be used as rewards for a class where children earn a stone and they have to collect them all. This would work fine and the size is perfect. If you need an even amount of each variety that would be highly unlikely. My son enjoyed sorting them. Fair price compared to other sets out there I think. I had 14-15 different varieties. It was is hard to identify a few of them…so that’s what I think at least. The chart provided helped!

Not great stones

I bought these because I like to set up fill a bag rock boxes at gatherings and it looked like a nice selection. I thought some of them might make nice pendants because of the 3/4 inch size. Well you get what you pay for and nothing more. I see no reason to buy 10 pounds as a gift. They aren't anything spectacular. Many aren't even close to 3/4 inch, the polish isn't great, a lot are square chunks. Very few round or oval stones like you would expect them to be. The most disappointing thing was that with the NatGeo name, I expected better quality. I wish I had spent 2.5 times as much on a mix from Rock Tumbler. Oh well, I'll be able to keep the bags at 5 dollars while I save up for better quality stones. The packaging was nice. Unfortunately, there are a lot of stones that can't be identified easily with the chart included. I haven't had good luck buying stones on Amazon but keep trying because of the prime shipping.

Quite nice, the rocks and crystals are reasonable big and there is good variety. Nice if you are looking to complete or extend a kid's or starter mineral collection.

In love with these, great deal, great product, price is great. Fun to go through all of the stones. I've bought 2 boxes so far and will be buying more soon
