A small thing that makes life so much easier.

I've owned several reaching tools over the years, Gopher among them, and I always keep coming back to this brand over others because of the suction cups. They just seem to do a better job than other reachers of picking up very small items, such as fallen nails or coins, yet they also do a great job of grasping larger, heavier items such as jars. They do wear out over time but they're not flimsy. They're inexpensive enough that I can afford to have one in every room where items are stored in high or low positions. They also make great litter picker-uppers.

Great buy

As represented. Have to yank it hard to open, but we'll worth the money. Bought 3 and nice to spread them out including one in the car.

Grip needs some adjustment

The grabber tends to let some items slip regardless of the grip but adjusting to grab thicker parts of the items

I bought one with plastic arms and it was junk. This one is the best. It's lightweight and picks items up with ease.

It will pick up anything as long as it’s not heavy.

I am elderly, and I have difficulty with my knees. I seem to always dropping things, so this product has become my “Best Friend”!!!

Works ok, but didn't stay locked

Works better than the cheaper versions, but I do have issues with the locking features staying in a locked position. I was testing it out before using it the first time and the handle lock will not stay locked if you squeeze it (seems to be the point of a handle lock). The first time I used this was for picking up trash along the road where I live and I was picking up trash for over and hour, the middle would randomly unlock. I'd relock it again and then a little while later it would unlock again. It happened multiple times. Not sure if it's just mine or if all of them would be this way.
