Very Thankful
Bought the Bauer Harbor Freight Jack Hammer for $400-$450 and within about 1 hour of use the motor seized. Returned it with/for an $80 restocking fee :(. Bought this (VEVOR brand) one on Amazon for $160 and filled the hydraulic oil reservoir with SAE 20W-50 and is running like a champ!!! Not only is this more powerful than the Bauer Harbor Freight jack hammer but is also lighter and cheaper. Helped me do an interior french drain in my basement with 3-6 inches thick concrete. Works really well and is still going strong. A big thankful thumbs up!!!!!!!

I was skeptical, but wow did it work great!
I had a 20x20 patio that I wanted to take out. The contractor quoted me $2500 to tear out and haul off so I decided to give this jack hammer a try. It wasn't a quick process, but it worked very well taking out the concrete. In the end it cost me $350 to tear it out and get it hauled off (with me doing the labor) and I ended up with a jack hammer to use in other projects. Buying this product was much better than renting and was always available when I was ready to do the work.

Easy to use but leaked oil from the tip.
Great tool over all but it begins to leak oil on first day of use. I'm not sure if this is normal. Powerful cuts through concrete with ease.

Does not come with hydraulic fluid
Make sure you buy some hydraulic fluid before running the equipment. Also the locking mechanism for the different tips isn't the most secure

Great little machine! But… read the review!
Many years ago my first job was working for a concrete company. I’ve spent many hours behind industrial jack hammers so perhaps this review will help your decision in purchasing this jack hammer. So for two hundred bucks I believe you’ll definitely get your monies worth. I used mine to break up a 70 year old driveway under a carport that had tree roots starting to break it beyond repair. The slab was approx. 4 yards worth of concrete. This machine gets hot but takes a while to get there. I’d take a 10-15 minute break every hour and place the hammer in front of a fan to help it cool off. I wanted to be sure not to burn it up. I broke the tip of both bits fairly quickly but it seemed to have no real effect on the hammer. Just had to bend over an extra inch or so. I’m 6’ tall and it’s hard standing upright while using this. IMPORTANT!!!! After my second hour of using the hammer I noticed on the ground a new looking allen head bolt directly underneath where I was working. I stopped immediately to check the hammer to see if said bolt fell out. Sure enough it had come from the hammer. I also noticed all the allen headed bolts located on the collar of the bottom of the hammer were either on the verge of coming out or extremely loose! So I’d advise before it’s first use make sure to tighten ALL FASTENERS on this machine! I’m not sure what would’ve happened if they all would’ve fallen out but I’m sure it wouldn’t have been pretty. There’s a site glass on the outside of the machine that tells you how much hydraulic oil is there. Besides the site glass is a sticker that advises to fill with hydrolic oil before first use. I did not have to fill it as it was already completely full. Anyway other than loose bolts this machine did exactly what I needed it to do. Saved myself about $600 in labor by busting up the old driveway.

Excellent item
This item is very durable. Much better than expected. I have used this item in many jobs and it has saved me a lot of big box store rental fees.

weight, hydraulic fluid, 2" ground stake driver bit
I put the hydraulic fluid in the wrong place. There is a sticker that says add hydraulic fluid here, and I removed the cap and filled that chamber with hydraulic fluid. Oops. I think the correct way to do it is: once you have the cap off, separate it into two pieces. Put the small reservoir back on the machine, fill it with hydraulic fluid, then put the gasket and cap back on top of it. The manual says 100 ml and I think that is the correct amount. This hammer is lighter than I'd like. I was using it to drive 1.25" pipe and it needed two adult men's weight on it to get anything accomplished. The Temco 2" bit works in this hammer, but only the bit with the round end (the solid hex shaft bits, like the one Bosch sells, do not fit this- I think they fit a larger hammer instead)

Awesome!
Got it to do some repairs in my basement. Rental units were 100$ a day. This worked flawlessly. I used it with a tamper attachment to tamper some granular A and it seemed to work perfectly. Calls for no.46 hydraulic oil. Hopefully it will last a very long time. Time will tell. Seems well built. With a little maintenance it should last a long time.

Was a little bit nervous about the quality, based on some of the negative reviews, they were wrong.
I have been using this Jackhammer for several days taking out a cement slab and it works beautifully. When I had my construction company till a few years ago I had a Hitachi H65 and it was a workhorse, to my surprise this appears to be the same Jackhammer, different color but looks, performs and feels exactly the same. It was cheaper to buy this than to rent one for several days to do all my work. MAKE SURE YOU ADD OIL! I bought Shell Rotella 15W-40 (for diesel engines), which is what I used on my Hitachi and it works well.

Doesn’t come with oil
Works great but doesn’t come with oil. Excellent value for money! Notes: - Does NOT come with oil - buy 70/90 gear oil and fill about 3/4 on the sight glass. - “instructions” aren’t worth jack. But it’s easy set up so no big deal. - accessories are crap but that’s expected. - DOES come with extra motor brushes though which is good! - actual tool works well and both of the attachments are good, but needs a rest if you’re hammering solidly for more than a couple of hours. - if you’re starting and stopping often then it’s fine and doesn’t get all that hot.
