This is an exact replacement for the aerator that came on my Moen faucet, with one exception: It was missing the brass washer that backs up the swivel o-ring. Without that part, which seats in a groove under the inlet screen, the swivel unseats and leaks. I re-used the washer from my old unit. Also re-used, the metal male-to-male coupling that I had purchased to replace the useless Nylon part on my old aerator. The new nylon part is just as useless. Once properly installed, it is the best you can have.

Expensive but works
So nice to have a new working unit for the kitchen sink. We have gone through 3 of these units in the past 22 years. They wear out and they are way too expensive.

Low Water Pressure
The Moen aerator, although more expensive than some off-the-rack aerators, is less useful. This aerator limits water pressure excessively, compared to cheaper less graceful aerators. There may be a trick to "modifying" this aerator.

I purchased the Moen 20200 Swing 'n' Spray Aerator in 8/12. I immediately saw what one of the previous reviewers had meant, when the unit exploded off the faucet and went flying around the room. Going back to basics, I tried, after finding all the parts all over the kitchen, to reinstall it. I found that you must tighten the unit A LOT, using pliers, until when you turn it on all leaks around the unit stop. After that, it works just fine.

Came apart completely. Blew Across the Kitchen after 4 uses. Its 90% plastic 10% metal Certainly not the quality I expected from the great MOEN which costs 6x as much as a cheap Danco. No wonder an illustration is shown not an actual image of the item. I will add my own. I thought the bottom portion would be a beautiful chrome. NOPE. 1970s kitchen plastic! The concept is nice. The less than fan shaped flow in spray mode is nice and more controlled that it is on a DancoDanco 36325B Swivel Aerator and Sprayer, Chrome aerator and the pull push mechanism felt solid. I did love the way it will stay in the spray mode, you don't have to keep pulling down on the fitting to move it from solid flow to spray time after time like you do with all the others on the market. Yes its swivel hips moved smoothly as the gears in a great engine, the twelve hours I owned it that is. BUT - lot of good it did to have all of the nice features when all of it disassembled and bounded across the room. I tried repeatedly to re-seat it but things kept getting worse. With the upper fitting being totally plastic every time you grip it especially with pliers its soft threads (whether you protect it with a rag or not) get more misshapen and you can forget ever getting it back to working order if this happens to you. I had never had one come apart like this. I didn't even know that the insert which you screw to the faucet was also threaded at the bottom and connects in screw fashion to the swivel element too. I assumed that area was soldered or otherwise adhered. Well in this Moen it was just threaded on so when the threads came undone they came undone in two places.... the upper end toward the faucet and toward the bottom piece! Ka Boom!

Best Spray Swivel
This is the best spray swivel I know of. I now have three. The one warning I have is that if you have to use the plastic adapter, it is not as good. That adapter should be plated brass, not plastic. When you don't need the adapter -- none is needed to attach to T&S Brass faucets -- it works as well as you could wish. Ironically, I have one on a MOEN faucet which does require the adapter! With the plastic adapter the swivel will be wobbly and tend to loosen.

Amazon rocks!
I ordered this yesterday morning and it is installed on my faucet today - Amazon...you are unbelieveable in service!! This Moen aerator replaced an identical one that was installed in our first house built in 1976 - yes that's right...it lasted for 33 years of daily use and traveled from that home to our current one, because I couldn't find a replacement for it when we built again! So don't let the price make you hesitate at all! It is FAR better than any of the plastic ones available in retail stores. And as a side note, you are only getting a swivel aerator, not the full faucet set that is pictured in the listing (oops - Amazon?) Thanks again Amazon - you NEVER fail to amaze me!!

Great aerator
My dad loved Moen products and installed one of these aerators on my kitchen faucet years ago. In those days, I didn't truly appreciate how handy it was. I used it for many years, taking it and reinstalling it place to place, until I moved and left it for a fancy Grohe pull out spray faucet at a new place. Fast forward...another move, no fancy faucet, no spray attachment. This is perfect for my new digs. I've been using it only a month, but expect it to enjoy using it for years. Worth every penny.

poor graphics and instruction
I regret buying this aerator for an existing Moen faucet. It does not include an acceptable parts diagram and the instructions are impossible to follow. I am quite handy and have installed aerators in the past but was unable to install this one without it leaking profusely and do not recommend it unless you are a plumber!
