Pay attention to the description

My fault, didn't pay attention to the description. Didn't realize it was just one big rectangle. Clearly says 'cut to fit'. I didn't cut it, but pinned it at it's shortest part to fit my ironing board. Will say that it's much thicker than what you get with other cover & pad sets. Can't speak to how it will wear/last. Someone else mentioned washing it. For this price, when the material gets too compressed and the board shows through, I just toss it and buy a new one.

Good Pad for the Iron Board

I purchased this because my ironing board has a very thin pad. This resulted in waffle-like marks on my clothes when using my steam button. As a child, my mother used to use felted material to place under her ironing board cover's pad in addition to the original pad, so I decided to look for something similar. I am glad that I purchased this product. It was a good size: (About 3/4 sized for an average, cheapie ironing board.) It was thick and easy to put under my 'top' fabric. I kept my original 'pad' which came with the board and just put this new product on top of it. I would buy this again as well as recommend it to others.

Good brand - check measurements before ordering - says will fit from 48 to 57 but on a 53 inch a bit loose especially on sides.

First, the positive the Minky brand ironing board cover has one big plus over most that are available in the US and that is instead of the string and crimp you have elastic the entire way round the board covering and it is one piece instead of the "pad and cover" usually found. This reviewer first ordered the standard Minky sized cover but discovered that was just a bit too small for ironing board so, learning mistake measured before ordering again. The supersized says it fits 48 to 57 inch ironing boards - reviewer's ironing board measures 53" and the supersized is a bit "loose" on this ironing board but will work. If you can go with the standard Minky board cover this reviewer would recommend that over the supersized as the elastic is a bit more "heavyduty" and the general feel of fabric is a bit better with the standard than the supersized. But, if you have to go to the supersized the cover is a good selection being, in this reviewer's opinion superior to most ironing board covers available in the US market.

Goo dproduct

A little awkward to fit and cut to size and then to place the cover over the top, but once on the ironing board it has stayed in place perfectly. Makes a very good base for ironing.

I have an old ironing board that was my mom's ...

I have an old ironing board that was my mom's in the 60's and this is the only cover that's wide enough to cover it without slipping off. My only gripe is that it scorched a bit one of the first times I ironed. Keep in mind I'm 50-something and have been ironing since my mom taught me how in the 60's. I have never scorched an ironing board cover before, so was surprised when this happened. I hadn't walked away and forgotten it, I'd only put the iron off to the side while I repositioned the shirt.

Great...Easily Fits a Large Board

I have a really large ironing board 18" x 58" and this cover easily fits over it and no fancy ties or toggles, just elastic. The quality of the material is good and I am hoping that the red does not run. It does need a good ironing out of the package. The only complaint that I have, and this is with most covers, is that they do not have an additional felting. I am using felt from a previous cover but would love to see that included.

Cut to fit

It was easy to cut this to size and gives a good amount of padding. Makes ironing much quicker and easier.

New ironing board cover

I have now fitted it onto the ironing board. It fits well. The quality and durability of the fabric appears to be good. Only time will tell whether it is or not. I like the pattern on the fabric. The cost is reasonable.
