Beautiful artificial Orchid - but it arrived without a pot!

I really like this Mikasa Artificial Orchid in Pot and wanted to give it 5 stars - but it arrived without a "Pot". Fortunately, I had a flowerpot that was just the right size for it that coordinated well with my guest room. This artificial Orchid is very beautiful, elegant and lifelike. I ordered it to add some "greenery" to the guest room that wouldn't die when I forgot to water it! This Mikasa Artificial Orchid "Not in a Pot" arrived quickly, is beautifully crafted, and was very well packaged - except they forgot the pot!

PRETTY ARTIFICIAL ORCHIDS…..

My favorite flower is the orchid and I have different artificial orchid plants around my home but needed one for this table in my dining room. It’s Mikasa brand so it’s well made. The vase is actually quite solid and the fake soil looks real. The flowers look real but don’t feel very real compared to others I’ve had. Mine arrived with a few flowers that had fallen off but I easily reattached them. It’s a nice plant though!

The flower itself looks fantastic. Very reminiscent of springtime. The little vase that it comes in was already shattered in the box, unfortunately. However, I was able to place the plant in a different vase that I had and all is well again.

High Quality - Very Realistic Looking

My wife loves orchids and we have several similar items around the house. Over time (several years), they do begin to yellow a little bit and need to be updated. I saw this and ordered it for her. When it arrived, unfortunately, the vase was broken… but we were able to easily re-pot it into one of the older orchid pots that we were replacing. The broken vase was clearly a shipping issue and I’m not going to deduct stars from a product rating based on shipping issues. Those type of things happen and there is comfort in knowing that you have the backing of a company like Amazon who I am sure would have replaced it, if needed. That being said, the orchid itself is of high quality and looks very realistic. Even the fake dirt in the pot looks real. Mikasa is a quality brand and we have purchased several of their products over the years. These work great just about anywhere in your house. We have them in our guest bathroom, morning room, stairway, etc. The orchid is such a unique looking plant, and with pets roaming around the house… we don’t like to put real plants out in fear that they will eat them (truth be told, they even gnaw at these fake ones sometimes). Plus, these last much longer than real ones and you don’t have to water them. We are happy with the product and the price is just about in line with what you would pay at a “Home Goods” type store for this size plant.

Absolutely beautiful and very well-made

This orchid arrived today, and was packaged absolutely perfect in lots of bubble wrap. There was no damage whatsoever to the orchid or the pot. It looks very real. It is very well-made. And the pot that is in is also beautiful. I believe this would be perfect on anyone’s home or office. It would make a beautiful Mother’s Day gift, or gift for a birthday or housewarming. It looks real right down to the dirt in the pot. Looks like it has actual moss growing on it. I did have to adjust the green foliage at the bottom. But the orchid flowers I did not have to move at all, because they packaged it so well that they were not smashed at all. I think this is a beautiful orchid, and it would fit in any type of home or office decor. This orchid looks real, but it is so much better than a live orchid that you do have to care for. I don’t know how many people have actually tried to successfully bloom, an orchid, they are not as easy as you would think to care for. So for me, this is the perfect orchid. and the care that they took packaging this so nothing got smashed at all is impeccable. If anyone is considering giving this as a Mother’s Day gift, do it you are most definitely making the right decision, your mother will love it. I highly recommend this you will not be disappointed.

Really beautiful, Nice attention to detail & looks good anywhere.

I have a very "green thumb", except when it comes to orchids. I also hate to see plants die, so that means no lovely orchids in my house, up until now.This Mikasa Real Touch Phalaenopsis Orchid arrived in excellent condition, having been securely enrobed in bubble wrap. The heavy pot, faux moss & orchid plant itself came right out of the tall box looking great, with only one small flower dislodged. I was able to reattach it easily. Of course the leaves, stems & flowers needed to be shapped & adjusted, as do most artificial plants/flowers. When finished the orchid looked looked perfect. No, it's not real, but, placed on my mantle at the end of the room, it looks like a real, live orchid. Also, it will continue to look that way without any intervention from me, for as long as I want it too. A live orchid, in this nice of a pot, would cost more & I've seen artificial ones cost much more. IMO this is a great product at an excellent price & I'm very pleased with it.

Great decoration

I've been wanting to add some type of plant decor to my house with a farmhouse theme, and this fit the bill perfectly. The size is just right for an entryway/hallway table and really adds some color and dimension that knickknacks and photos can't provide. Obviously, if you look at it closely you can tell it's artificial, but all other times it looks real. The flowers feel real and look great! Definitely a great addition to the house.

Pretty orchid - lasts longer for me than the real thing

This is a nice-looking plant and looks quite real from a distance. Up close you can tell it’s artificial, but good quality. I love the pattern on the pot – it has a distressed leaves imprinted on it and feels solid. I’ve had a sad history with live orchids – I love them, but I don’t have a green thumb and can’t keep them alive, so this is a great alternative.
