Pick larger size
I wear size 34-36" waist. Got an extra large and the fit great.

Extremely high quality - feel great - medium level of insulation
First, I should say I'm a big fan of Spyder winter sports attire. I've used Spyder gear for almost 20 years in different circumstances and it always looks good, keeps me warm, and holds up well over time. I had ski pants from a different brand that got a gash in them last year and I need to replace them. I knew the Spyder pants wouldn't disappoint and I'm happy I got them. My only comment is on the sizing. Looking at some of the reviews on here, I decided to go bigger than normal and probably overshot the best size. I'm a tall, athletic guy and usually wear either a large or extra large. I ordered the XXL based on some of the suggestions. It still fits as there is an adjustable waistband I can cinch up all the way (and the bib suspenders would also help if it remained a little loose). There's plenty of give in the hips and thighs and easy range of movement and I'm confident it would have been fine to have stayed with an XL as there would almost certainly have still been sufficient space and the waist would have been closer to what I want (Most of my pants are between 34 and 36 waist; with this cinched up all the way, I'm guessing it's closer to a 38). Although I agree that this may run a little large, I wouldn't necessarily follow some of the advice from others to go up an extra size or two. If you think you're between sizes, definitely go up. If you like snow pants a little baggier, definitely go up. If you like things that fit a little closer to your body, you're probably okay with your normal size.

Size runs a little small, and not great at blocking wind
The pants were a bit tight, and did not block the wind as well as I would have liked. Though on warmer days having those vents in the leg were really nice. Those I ski with also say the yellow is very easy to spot.

Run VERY VERY small - order up. Otherwise, very nice pants!
(I accidentally ordered two of these pants; hence the double review...) First, let me say that the sizing on these is WILDLY small and you NEED to order a size up. I am 6', 225, and I sometimes wear a Large in clothes/outerwear, but most often wear an X-Large these days just for added room and comfort, though I still like stuff to have a more athletic fit than baggy. This X-Large is QUITE snug on me. Not only in the waste (which I have to suck in a bit for, even when fully adjusted to the largest setting), but also through the seat/crotch/thighs. I'm slightly concerned they will split out on the slopes, but I think they'll be okay... I hope... motivation to get in shape, I guess, haha. ORDER A SIZE UP! Beyond that issue, as with all Spyder stuff, these seem very high-quality and very well thought out. I haven't had a chance to use them on the slopes yet, but I'm really liking the features/quality so far. The suspenders are a must-have for me, but it's nice that they are easily removed for those who don't like them. The snaps seem like they will hold really well (though they can be a little tricky to snap). The materials are nice. The level of insulation seems good - not too much, not too little (I tend to like lighter than heavier insulation, though...). Nice pockets, nice zips... it's all good. They look nice and sleek as well. So, ORDER A SIZE UP and you'll probably be pretty happy with these. Recommended!

Nice Ski Pants
I got these for my husband for upcoming ski season to replace the ones he's holding together with duct tape. He's excited about these pants. They are warmer than the brand he's replacing with better insulation. Plus, these have zippered vents in the upper legs for days when he gets too warm while skiing. Plus, the zippers are easy to grab and zip in case he wants to close them while riding the lift. The front pockets are deep enough to hold his cell phone and secured with a zipper so he doesn't lose it. I don't like ski pants with suspenders but he does as he thinks they stay on better. The bottoms of these are flared out enough that they easily fit over his ski boots. Plus, these have an extra layer of gray fabric to protect the inside of the pants from getting holes when rubbing on the opposite boot during turns. The only thing that kept us from giving these a 5 star rating is the fit. These are a bit snug in the waist. My husband usually wears a small in ski pants which is what we ordered. He's a 30 waist and short (about 30 length) The length was perfect for him but wouldn't be great for anyone even normal height or taller. Plus, he can barely snap these but at least can. I would suggest ordering up if you tend to me in between sizes. Otherwise, this is a great brand and my husband is happy with them. He especially likes the bright yellow as it's easy for his ski buddies to locate him on the hill.

ok for the price
Decent pants for the occasional skier. No, they're not really up for more serious conditions, nor would I expect them to hold up for the daily skier, but they're coming in at a fraction of the cost of something that would.

Nice quality, runs small
These pants look and feel very nice. The only problem is that there is no size guide, and they run small. I normally wear a size 38 or 40 (Large), I measure 43-44” just under the stomach (where the waistband sits), and these in XXL are TIGHT. I tried going to the SPYDER website to look up size guides for similar pants, and these run small for what should have fit by their size guide. The waistband is adjustable, but it’s Velcro and is really only used to make the waist smaller - not larger. Like I said before, they are good quality. I would just order a size or two up to make sure they fit.

Fantastic pants, great fit
I wore these a bunch this ski season, and have been really thrilled with them. They are completely waterproof, but still offer great breathability. The vents are great, and I really like the suspenders to keep them in place. I have meatier legs, but found them to be a comfortable yet slim fit. More modern than most ski pants, but definitely not tight either.
