Not what I expected and great way

I gotta say I was looking for a duck carpenter black jeans that has pockets on both sides of the legs but they got more expensive and a few months the color fades quickly. As I was searching I came across this type a jeans and I didn’t want to get them but the price (at the time when I bought it it was $25) convinced me and I’m actually really glad I got them. First thing I noticed was it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing jeans. I mean it’s very comfy and stretches very. This is a huge plus for me as I carry heavy boxes often and my pants can rip easy but these pants can stretch enough that I don’t have to worry about my pants getting ripped. The side pocket fits my iPhone pro max with case no problems at all. I saw some one else mentioned that these pants can bean worn as casually and boy that person is absolutely right about that. I put on these pants not even thinking about changing them to my casual pant I normally wear on my day off and I kept thinking my pants are unusually more comfortable and I realized I had my work pants on. Definitely recommend them if you’re tall like carpenter jeans and love a flexible pants this is a must buy. Definitely buying more of these.

Flex in Dickies pants is good

The flex material Dickies integrates into the pant is good. Flex helps a person to move around easily meanwhile keeping the pants on. Keeps the pants feeling light. Keeps the pants non restrictive like heavier pants can feel.

Great for construction!

These are my go-to pants when it's too warm for Carhartts. I work for a municipal DPW and it's hard to find comfortable pants that last through paving, masonry, drainage and striping jobs. I bought my first pair of these almost 3 years ago and they've held up to being worn twice a week from summer through fall. I just ordered a new pair and got them a size up, wearing these with longjohns underneath is about as warm as Carhartt pants but you can actually move in them! Just be warned, the waist fits a little small

Poor Quality

Update: New pants came in with no tears or rips. It seems the first pair were worn and returned. So far, the pants have held up very well. Pants came with ripped and seemed to have been worn. I am returning. I ordered another pair as my boyfriend liked the way they fit. If the new pair is better quality, I will update my review. Very disappointed as these were $45.00 pants.

Worth 3x the $$$

Great pants. Ive tried on dozens of pants from dozens of brands, some costing 3x the price. For carpentry/painting/remodeling these are the best.

Fits the bill

Lasted me about 6 months before the knees and inseam in the seat blew out, which is 3 months longer than the carhartts and other brands lasted me. Nice professional looking fit, fits the thighs well and loosens around the calf. The crotch area could be a tad longer/more relaxed if you wear pants high for ccw. Overall not bad just bought 2 more pairs.

My favorite work pants

The best fitting work pants I could find. I think Stevie Wonder must design Carhartt’s pants because they are a nightmare for sizing. Perfect length and the leg is just right.

Awesome work pants

Arguably the best work pants you can get. They fit great, more on the slim side, which is what you want if you're climbing through attics, crawlspaces, tight spaces etc. I've had mine 4 months now with 5 days a week wear and many washes and I see no flaws in anything yet. The pockets are great, I like that the side pockets are the same material as the pants. The Carhartts I used to get always got holes in the side pocket from my wire strippers. The only gripe I have is I wish both legs had a side pocket and a hammer loop. Overall I really like them, I wish the normal colors like black and khaki were cheaper, the off colors like the green and browns are 20 bucks cheaper, doesn't make a lot of sense.

Very good

These are very good quality and fit. I payed a good price for these in a sale (£28?) and they are worth all of that and more, although I have seen some at £60+ and would think twice about paying that for any pair of work trousers that will get ruined whatever quality you buy.
