Rear panel is essentially waterproof as described

Works great on wet trails as I don't have a fender. Fits well and makes me look like an MTB model.

Worth the money

Awesome shorts for riding or just wearing around. Kinda fit more like board shorts with some room, you can tell there mtb shorts though. No zipper just a button and a small space were there zipper would be

tight fit, hot, loud

A bit tight in the waist, almost constrictive. I wear size 28 and ordered a 28 waist. Definately maxing it out with the adjustment straps fully open. My first ride in them was on a cooler day, 50F. They felt hot with poor breathability. I'm a little concerned for summer rides. My only other complaint is they are noisy when you ride. Every pedal stroke is heard in the material in the thigh area as it rubs. They do work though and it's hard for me to find shorts that fit, so I'll keep them.
