Finally, as a muscular guy I can wear jeans that aren't baggy in the lower legs!
I've got a build that is hard to fit in jeans. I'm 6'0" tall and weigh about 210 lbs with with a fairly muscular build that includes a 34" waist, 32" -33" inseam, 27" thighs, and 16.5" calf. I've also got a butt / glutes. I've been a runner my whole life since high school and I've never skipped leg day. I squat 400 lbs. Why all the background? Because the body shape I ended up with makes it really hard to find jeans that fit. If I buy a 34" waist, usually my legs and rear end won't fit the legs of the pants. If I buy so that the legs and rear end fit, the waist is usually 2" too big. I finally found a brand years ago, Wrangler (13MWZ), in a straight leg jean that fits OK, so that's what I've been buying. But that straight leg with a 16" opening at the hem is pretty baggy in the lower leg. But skinny jeans or tapered jeans have always been off limits for me. I've had to live with baggy lower legs to get something close to a decent fit.....until now. I started looking around for new jeans and since I had good luck with Amazon's "Buttoned Down" branded dress shirts I browsed Amazon's "Goodthreads" brand and found they have four different fits. Skinny....not likely for me. Slim.....still not likely. Athletic.....hmmm, sounded promising. Straight Cut.....yeah likely similar to what I was already wearing. So I looked at the description for the "Athletic" cut and they have a slightly shorter rise on the waist, not a big deal to me. But the big deal is that while they have a classic fit in the butt and thigh, they taper in the lower leg down to a 14.5 inch opening. That sounded pretty promising. In addition, these are stretch jeans wit 2% Elastane / Spandex. OK, the Spandex threw me off a bit. After all, I'm a real man right? Stretch jeans are for girls not manly men. I had visions of yoga pants. Well not to worry. The Spandex is not noticeable at all in the look and feel of the Denim. And these athletic fit jeans are not skin tight on me. But.....that little bit of give in the waist, seat, and legs makes these things more comfortable with a closer fit than any pair of jeans I've ever owned before. They also seem to hold their shape better. Maybe the girls are onto something here. OK, OK, I'm keeping the chick jeans, I don't care. I bought these in the Dark Blue and Black colors in a size 34" X 32" initially. The fit was fine except for the length. The 32" inseam measured and fit more like 30". So back they went and I reordered 34" X 33". The extra 1" of inseam looks and feels about right for me. So my advice is to order these 1" - 2" longer in the inseam than what you normally wear. And speaking of inseam, I was really happy to see that this Amazon Goodthreads brand offers inseams in 1" increments instead of the usual 2" increments usually offered by major brands. That allowed me to zero in on a really good fit in the waist, butt, thighs, calf, and inseam. These are now my go to jeans. Fashion is finally working for me. No more baggy leg jeans. I can wear a tapered pair of jeans. And I'm not gonna apologize for wearing stretch jeans. I love these things. Highly recommended!

Darker than I thought
These jeans were a bit darker than expected and fit a bit lose on the waist but after I washed them, they fit great!

Great Jeans but bad smell!
I’ve bought 2 different pairs of jeans and they both fit fantastic and look is great but what’s up with the weird smell?!?!? It smells like mothballs or something like that. I’ve washed them 4 times and still smell is there but it is faint.

Ripped after a full year of use... Disappointing
Well the threads are good... Sadly the fabric isn't. I was bending down doing some work installing LED strips at home when I heard and felt my jeans ripping in the back. Got a wonderful (not) 6 inch gash in my jeans right next to the seam. These were good until they were not anymore. Seems like the fabric is too thin and it gets worn out from sitting. Makes me rethink buying this brand if they are not going to last much more than a year. TLDR: Comfortable jeans. Unfortunately not built well in terms of the fabric. I can only say, buy them when on massive discount as they only have an lifespan of about a year.

The price tripled since Aug 2020
I bought the grey color for my son in Aug 2020 for $9+change. I took a chance because they were available in a shorter leg length then I can typically find for him. Didn't really know anything about the brand/quality. Pretty impressed over all. They are washed often 2-3X a week (yes, he wears them that much). So far, after 7 months, they are not wearing thin or ripping out. I wanted to order him a couple more pairs, only to find the price went from below ten bucks to $40. WHY??? In seven short months? That's outrageous. I guess I will need to keep looking for an equivalent that's under $20 bucks. Too bad. I thought the GoodThreads brand was supposed to be affordable.

Bought for a second time - super comfy
Bought these jeans for boyfriend who loves the look, but is of the age where comfort starts becoming important. I strong-armed him into the first pair, and a few months down the line he asked me to buy him a second pair. The fit really well, look like jeans - *are* jeans, hold up to daily wear and repeated washing, and there's the extra magic of that little stretch in the fabric that makes them more comfortable than regular jeans... as well as delightfully form fitting without being or looking tight. Tip: Pricing and availability vary over time and for different colors kind of randomly. If the color you want is currently high or not available, it's worth coming back at different times and checking on it to nab that price dip.

Good, not great...but I'm a tough fit
I'm short. 5'6" to be exact and I've got legs like a hobbit so I'm an admittedly tough fit. These seem a bit high-waisted to me so they droop a bit in the back (not much, but it's noticable). I like the quality and the price but the cut is just a little off for my frame. Sadly, the price-gougers at Levis seem to have my cut dialed-in. I'll keep them and wear them, but I wish they fit just a little better.

Finally jeans that work with yoga-thighs!
Those of us with sturdier legs can probably appreciate these jeans. I can even put phones and wallets in the pockets without the material stretching taut! As in their description, the slack vs regular cut is mostly at the thighs and tapered through the calves, so there may be some physiques that these don't cater to. Comparing to Wranglers of the same sizing... Waist fit is similar and there's more space around the hip/groin in general. Stretch is present but not excessive, probably 5-10% give. Overall fit is comfortable. Bit longer in the leg than expected, next time I will try 1-2 ins shorter and see how it goes. The button hole is a bit tight, but that will probably loosen up in time. Time will tell on how hard wearing they prove to be. Will update this review if they fall apart fast. *edit* Worn through at the knees 8 months later. Fair for the price; can pay twice as much for less lifespan.

Comfortable
Ordered a pair in odd sizes...29"x33" (never before) a month ago, delivered promptly, worn them lots and washed them lots and they feel really nice and the stretch fabric around the waist is very comfortably. so much so I've ordered a second pair. I've just thrown out a pair of Boss and Hilfiger that cost me a small fortune and had finally worn out, these are no match for those however the days of me buying £100 plus jeans is over and these make a bargain alternative. For the money, highly recommended.

They couldn't handle my thigh
Sadly after 4 month my thighs burned a hole in the groin area. They are a great pair of jeans but my thighs were to damn strong.

Good value for money
I am very happy with these trousers. They fitted very well, as expected. Quality material, with some stretch. I would buy these again.
