Severe decrease in comfort from original product style. UPDATE after breaking them in.
UPDATE: OK, so after leaving the scathing review below, I then had to decide what to do with the beautiful white shoes that I hate. I know! Lawn work! That will schmutz them up, and green them up, and at least they won't be completely wasted then... Yup! Used them for mowing the rest of summer and fall. One early cold winter day I wanted to go out walking and didn't want to wear mesh-top shoes, so I grabbed my lawn shoes. Well, what do you know? They're still heavy (and now they're pretty ugly...) but now they're a whole lot more comfortable for walking now that I've "broken them in"! All right, but now I've left that scathing review. Should I delete it? I decided not to do that and instead just share what I've learned. I've upgraded my rating from one star to three stars. I've never owned a pair of Skechers that needed to be broken in. That said, they're nice and comfy now, and no more blisters on the back of my heel. "Truth be told." ------------ Original GoWalks were so amazingly light and comfortable, I swore I'd never wear another brand. Well, as James Bond would say, "Never Say Never Again". Referring to the white/grey ones shown on this page, it seems Skechers quality has taken a complete dump. (Amazon, in the spirit of the current censorship culture, scrubbed my previous review for mentioning another possibility...) These shoes are much heavier than the originals. They're not a delight to walk in like the original GoWalks were, even though they claim to use the same Gogamat padding. As I was walking, I found myself asking, "Am I wearing cinder blocks on my feet?" But wait! That's not all! I have never, EVER gotten a blister on the back of my foot above the heel with the original GoWalks style, but with these... Complete misery! (Right shoe only, of course, so inconsistency there too...) There's something to be said for trying on shoes at a shoe store, I guess. I thought I could not go wrong with Skechers GoWalks. I was sadly mistaken! (Beyond the above, I realize that this horrible purchase helped fund a recent meaningless space encounter that served no purpose but to harm the environment...) I'd recommend against buying these shoes. Save your feet (and the planet)!

The shoes are very comfortable, but I wish they were a little wider. I have hammer toe on both feet as well as plantar fasciitis in both feet. I need 2 layers of inner soles since I'm on my feet all day walking on concrete. These shoes aren't wide enough to comfortably wear 2 layers, needs to be a little wider.

good value and fit
This is my second pair of this shoe. They wear really well. It nice to know that one can get a good value and life out of a pair of tennis shoes. I hope I will be able to buy another pair.

Very short break in time.
The shoes are very comfortable and have a soft shell and firm sole. There was a very short break in time. Good price. I've been trying to get other colors, but they are unavailable at this time

As advertised these shoes are excellent. Lots of room front and back. If you have narrow feet these shoes probably not a buy. But for wider feet, high recommend.

a bit dissapointed
was advertised as full leather,they are not!!!!!! label inside shoe says leather/synchetic!!!! smell like plastic,it seems a bit off because they cost almost £100,but they are really comfy!!!!!lol
