Great watch for the money.
I bought this watch because it looks like a submariner, but I a website called away watches that sells knock offs for $125 that are almost indistinguishable from the real thing.

First Impression Invicta Pro Diver Swiss Quartz 9307
This is my initial review, having just received the watch. In a month or two I will write another one, to reevaluate and to compare to a Hanowa Swiss Military Flagship model that is similar to the Invicta but costs twice as much or more. I bought this Invicta from Amazon for a total of $75.59 with tax and free shipping. I had rather low expectations given the price, and knowing a little bit about Invicta -- knowing that the company is now another one of those marketing companies that focuses mostly on, well, marketing. Clearly they are also a "designer" company, given the hundreds, perhaps thousands, of watch designs they have, much like Seiko. So I was somewhat pleasantly surprised to find that this watch is quite well crafted and nicely finished. The all stainless steel case is on par with most modern stainless watches--very heavy, with an adequate attention to detail, equal to its more expensive Swiss cousins. The rotating bezel operates smoothly; the crown pulls easily and the time/date setting functions properly. The dial is gorgeous, the hands and the markers sharp and easy to see. The lume is nice and bright even at the end of a long night. I'm especially impressed with the solid-link stainless steel bracelet. It has smooth edges and the brushed steel portions are not much different from much more expensive watches like Omega and Rolex. The only complaint I have with the bracelet is the locking, fold-over clasp, made with rolled steel: as it is new it is very difficult to open the two clasps to remove the bracelet. This is probably good, as with long-term use the clasps will probably wear in and loosen up, but for now I nearly need a small screw driver to pry them open. You can call this watch "Swiss" but it is really only a "Swiss Movement" watch, most likely assembled in Asia. But, the assembly seems to be good and the quality control tight. As to the Swiss movement, I've tried to find out who makes it. Most likely Ronda or ISA, but without opening it there's no way to know. I set it according to my computer time and synched it with my Hamilton Khaki quartz and 24 hours later it is still right on the money, exactly in synch with both the Khaki and the Mac. I am further impressed that the second hand hits the marker dead on for most of the markers all the way around the dial. None of the Seiko quartz watches I have do that, so it seems to be a good movement. While this Invicta has a water resistance claim of 200M, I would not chance even taking a quick dip in a swimming pool given the fact it does not have a screw-down crown. Most likely that feature would add a few bucks to the price, but I think most watch enthusiasts like myself would pay a little more for the added assurance that if someone just happens to push you in the pool you will still know what time it is when you pull yourself out. Overall, my first impression is four stars. If it had a better, push-button clasp and a screw-down crown I would rate it five stars. Let's see how it does over the next couple months, and how it compares to the more expensive Hanowa. So far, for the money, it seems like a real bargain floating in a sea of overly-pricey Swiss watches. DECEMBER 23, 2012 FOLLOW UP REVIEW. Have to keep it at 4 Stars due to the slight inaccuracy of the quartz movement. Not a big deal but to earn 5 Stars quartz movements should be accurate to within a few seconds per year and this Invicta has lost nearly twenty seconds over the past two months. If that doesn't bother you, it's a great watch for the money and after all, what difference is 20 seconds going to make, ever?

1st time Invicta purchase
My previous watch was a Wenger divers watch that I was very happy with, but after 6 six years of constant wear & tear, the band finally gave out and the cost to replace it was about 3/4ths the cost of the Invicta 9307. Although I have never owned an Invicta, I have heard of them for about 10 yrs and decided to give it a try. The watch was projected to be delivered Wed. 5/13, it arrived Tues 5/12; a pleasant surprise! I have to agree with all the reviews that extol the presentation box, it's impressive; hope they put as much into the watch itself. One thing that wasn't mentioned is the watch band, or at least this one, is encased in a plastic wrap, a nice touch to protect it but very tight fitting and slightly difficult to remove without a knife blade or scissors to cut it, which kinda defeats the purpose. A tear strip would be a nice addition. Along with the instructions, was an application for a 'Platinum Plan Extended Warranty Program Five Year Warranty'. Read this carefully. It adds 4 years (at a cost of $25) to the Mfgs 1 yr warranty for a total of 5 years. You're not buying a 5 year plan, you're buying a 4 year plan. Still, at $6.25/yr. that may not be a bad deal. About the watch itself: Very beefy and seems as well constructed as my previous Wenger. The 'settings' for the band were at the maximum extension and I noticed that many of the other reviews said links had to be removed to get it to fit. In my case. I like my watches to fit just loose enough that they will 'jiggle' a little on my wrist, but the watch face won't turn sideways. So for me, I only had to move the clasp settings a few notches and it fit the way I prefer. Hope this review is helpful to someone considering this watch. Gave it 3 stars for the time being. I will wait about a month and write another review concerning the watches performance. ADDENDUM: I went to the Invicta website to register the watch. Found that the extended warranty is based on the manufacturers suggested retail price, not what you may have actually paid for it. Cost is actually $45 for the 4 years. Didn't see any option of a shorter term. My mistake. 6/28/15: Well I said I said I'd review again in a month and it's been a little more than that. The bezel on my previous watch was so easy to turn that just reaching into my pocket and having it rub against the cloth turned it, this bezel is extremely hard to turn, which is of no concern to me as I never use it but being the type of watch it is, this may be of important to some one else. A previous review have note that the second hand doesn't line up perfectly on the dial marks. This is true of my watch also, it is slightly (maybe 1/4 the distance) ahead of the markings but it doesn't affect it keeping accurate time, It hasn't deviated at all so far, compared to my computer clock. It had also been noted in a previous review that the luminescence of the hands and dial markings were/are poor in the dark. This is also true of my watch, I was hoping it was just a defect for the specific watch in the previous review but it could be inimical to all this model Invicta watches. For what I want/expect in an everyday watch, and at the price I paid, I am very satisfied with this watch.

You get what you pay for...
This is not waterproof, the hands are difficult to set accurately as they 'jump'. The watch is cheaply made and looks good but is actually of very poor quality. Its a pity they couldn't make it with a little more care as its a good weight and size, just badly made, and probably not in accordance with Trading Standards as its not waterproof. I sent mine back for a refund. Don't waste your time (pun intended!).

Great watch for the money
The watch arrived in the usual yellow box with warranty card and booklet. I had ordered the standard length bracelet, but still required 3 links taken out, but its a great looking watch for the money, and feels really nice to wear. The date magnifying is good, and feels, way more expensive than the actual price paid. Would consider adding a couple more to my collection for sure

Terrible quality and well overpriced.!
Returned immediately and as a watch collector can say that £1 would be too much for this garbage.! Crown wheel was faulty and terrible quality.!

Good quality watch
Good quality watch. Nice weight. The only issue I have which I have just noticed is that there is no number 10 on the watch. There is a 20,30,40 and 50 but no 10. How bizarre!
