Good quality, runs small.

Had to return, the item ran too small compared to other sweatshirts I own. Other than that I liked the quality.

Not for women

Description says unisex. And, for the most part, American Apparel’s unisex works great for me. This sweatshirt, not so much. Very boxy fit, especially in the shoulders. Not a very feminine fit at all.

Classic fleece crewneck

This is the most classic of crewneck sweatshirts. You can't even tell what brand it is, which is something I like about it. Made of a high quality cotton/poly blend, this one fits a little tight for it's size. I guess you could call it slim or athletic fit. Order a size up and you should be ok unless you like your clothes to fit very tight. Arm and overall length is good and the color is the standard heather or peppered grey. There is no hood, no buttons, no pockets, and no string to get lost. It's just a pullover sweatshirt with a soft fleece inside that is very comfortable. I'm a bit fan of this but I am not a fan of the way American Apparel does its sizing. For example, for their T shirts I wear a large, but this crewneck in a large would be too small for me. It may be because I'm a bit taller but in my experience when I order a size up, I'm good to go. This can be machine washed and I partial dried it and it didn't shrink at all.

Classic sweater.

This is the classic mens sweater. It has a crew neck, elastic cuffs at hem and cuffs, brushed fleece inside with a heather gray outside. The fit was right for an XL with plenty of room inside - as is traditional. I did find a stray thread inside the left cuff I had to cut off with scissors though. Otherwise seems reasonably well made. I good casual shirt for cool-cold weather used for work or play.

Nice sweater

The color goes with almost anything from jeans to sweatpants with not problem. The seams are sturdy and well sewn with no raw edges. The fit was just a bit snug so gave it to my grandson for the winter since he loves looser fitting tuos.

It was my husband's, but it keeps disappearing into my closet

This is exactly what it says (except I wouldn't call it a sweater). It's a basic grey unisex fleece pullover. It doesn't have a hood, or a large logo, no design on it anywhere, and the color is uniform on the cuffs and around the neck. It's almost as basic as you can get, and I LOVE IT! I love the simplistic style. I love the nice speckled grey color. I love how soft and warm it is. I love the length, the roomy-ness, and the price. And that is why even though my husband says it's his shirt it keeps appearing in my closet. I received this in an XL and I think it fits very true to size. It looks great on both my husband and I, and I'm going to have to order another one, and fast.

Comfortable!

Prior to getting this sweater, I will be truthful in that I hesitated. For one, I didn't want to wear a crewneck that were like the sweatpants I wore in high school, but I figured, it's from American Apparel and it should be better. Fortunately, once I received the crewneck sweater, it was better and it fit as expected. The fleece is peppered and the sweater is made in China. But the quality and the stitching is very good. But it's definitely a quality, comfortable crewneck sweater and I recommend it!
