Hard to Find!

I had one of these hoodies back about 10 years ago in '09. At the time they were sold everywhere. After a short time, unfortunately they developed the bad rep of being labeled as "GANG RELATED" clothes and were immediately restricted form being sold in stores. Finding this online was a God send because, looking past the (as some would call it) "design flaw", I couldn't find ANY other competitor that could stand up to my Champion. To the point, I used to live in Vermont and in -45 degree whether it didn't matter what you wore; that icy wind would cut to the bone. Having this hoodie under your daily driver jacket was all the insulation I needed, honestly. In Boston, especially during the winter, I would where this alone and be fine. Glad to see them back on the market! And if you think your not getting your moneys worth my last one lasted me till 2014, and only reason I parted ways with it to give to my now ex which I regret. But hey! GOT A NEW ONE!

Change Change

I bought the Super Hood a few years ago at a Hanes outlet sale. Unfortunately the only color was Smurf blue. My husband however, loves the thing and has been asking for another in a different color. So I finally ordered one. The one purchased previously was almost like two hoodies sewn together. It was really thick. This one is like that for the hood only, the rest of the hoodie is fleece lined and no where near as big as the old one. I picked up a XXXL at the sale (that was all they had and my husband likes thing to be big so that he can layer and still move comfortably. This same size in the newer hoodie was not anywhere near as big (and no, my husband had not gained that much weight lol) He loves the hoodie just the same, but I wish it would have been doubled like the Smurf one. Guess I will have to keep an ear out for the next sale!

This is perfect. I been looking for an original cone head for days & couldn’t find anything then finally checked amazon. The hoodie fits great, it’s true to size it’s a stiff fit & cozy af. & to people mad about the hood shape, it’s literally called a cone head. Read the damn description & check the reviews to know what you’re buying. Y’all are really stupid.

Ordered based on reviews.

I ordered a medium based on reviews that said it fits big which is just the opposite from what I received. I am 5' 7" and weigh 155lbs and this fits small and tight and barely comes to my waist band of my pants. I don't dare wash it. This is to bad cause it is a nice well made hoodie even with the wizard looking hood. I have several different hoodies so I should have stuck with my gut and ordered a large because they do shrink when washed. No one to blame but myself that's why I gave it 4 stars.

Quality heavy and warm sweatshirt

As noted above a quality garment. Unfortunately their sizing is very accurate so should have ordered a Large and it would have been more than adequate and if shrinking had occurred at washing it would still have been a comfortable fit based upon what I observed about the sweatshirt. Disappointed but, had to return the sweatshirt and amazon.com was out of the Large size when I tried to exchange it. As noted though an excellent quality to size product which you don't see much anymore. Seems one has to always order a size larger but, not with this garment.

HANES and CHAMPION will no longer be doing mail order on this product.another mastermind CEO decision. So sad! Seeing how I bought my hoodie from Amazon cheaper and received it quicker than the one I ordered direct from champion, nothing lost.the SUPERHOOD itself had been a part of my closet since I first slipped one on.it's basically my winter coat.warm, soft, comfortable.

I like that. I bought one in red & liked ...

Very warm. The material has a stiff, thick feel. I like that. I bought one in red & liked it so I ordered another black one. The hood is huge which is cool, but I don't really dig the wizard point at top. You can sort-of adjust the hood so that the point sticks out the back instead of straight up but it's still a little awkward if you care about that sort of thing.
