Good but expected better

Mcdavid is supposed to be best of best. It was but I find their quality is becoming more and more average. This product is an example of that Material is a little too lightweight and doesn’t have enough stretch/compression. I don’t think of this as “lightweight” I think of it as bad cost cutting. Padding is suitable put the girdle doesn’t do a good job of holding the thigh pads in place. You will definitely rely on your football pants to hold the pads in place, if your not wearing tight pants over these you shouldnt expect any protection. E.g. if your wearing basketball shorts opt for something like a third short (although I disliked the cheap material on those shorts just as much) Otherwise the fit is average or better. Also, beware the picture is the newest version of the 7333 but the item shipped was the older version.

They wirk

We bought these for our son because the ones the school provided had big tears. They work great our reason for taking away a star was because the thigh padding isn’t the flexible padding. They still work well.

Great for a tall skinny player

My son likes these for football. He is tall and skinny and it is not as bulky as some. The padding is in all the places it is needed.

Bought these for my lineman high school son! He won't even wear his other ones now that he has these! DEFINITELY good material because I literally wash and dry these several times a week! He said they're very comfortable and have good pad support! They are his FAVS! Great buy!
