works as advertised.

The only thing it needs improving is it needs a incandescent bulb to provide a load to activate the brake controller or it does not get detected. a simple bulb on a pigtail from Negative to Brake and now you can test the brake controller. The Led it comes with will not show the power intensity the controller provides. The product / Price is great for this Mod.

Thought it was broken for a minute there

So when I first put this in to test on my Touareg, three light blink constantly. people told me it was broken and to send it back. In fact , the blinking explains that your vehicle does not work with LEDs and you need to purchase https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C4AYR3U?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Once I did, this worked beautifully. So if you have a towing vehicle that does not recognize this tester, check out online to see if your wiring needs resistance to work with LEDs.

Worked fine, but was hard to read upside down

The lights are on one side of the tool... maybe you could rotate it, but didn't want to brake it... in my case the lights faced down and was hard to read without sitting on the ground...

Lights seem faulty

Marker light indicator is not bright, sometimes does not work. Works fine on truck and trailer though. Turn signals and other indicators work well. Overall, happy with purchase and shipping speed

Inexpensive, but it works.

I self installed trailer brake wiring and controller for a trailer I was going to travel to pick up. I had to know my work was good before I left. This confirmed my work. Well worth the small price to know in advance I was ready to go!

Handy little tool to keep in trailer

Thought I had a Wiring problem with Our travel trailer, thanks to this handy quick test tool, trouble proved to be coming from truck. I could have used a volt meter or auto test light....but there’s the issue of getting a good “ground” connection for test tips. This handy tool tests all connections at once, without having to know the colour codes or pin out connectors on back of truck. Great tool for the price.
