Not for long term use
Bought it 2 months ago to sleep on floor. Fine at first but the foam seems to have compressed. It hurts my tailbone. I just bought the 10in zinus mattress to replace. 180 vs 50 (for this) but I think I get more value out of it. It’s much thicker.

Very, very HARD; but fits camp bunk(s) perfectly
These mattresses are huge, even when folded. Each is 9 inches tall and we put them all in a mini-van traveling with us because they would have obstructed our view otherwise. They seem durable and were easy to transport (the foam is light but very dense). We appreciated the Velcro closure and the arm strap. Other than that they were a dismal failure. I bought three of these mattresses for a camping trip for a 65 year old (200 lbs.), 60 year old (155 lbs.) and 55 year old (160 lbs.) to use on top of camp mattresses at a girls' camp for a weekend retreat. It was hoped that they would reduce pain and pressure point issues from sleeping on the thin camp-supplied mattresses. They didn't work well for that purpose. Here are four different experiences with this mattress: One person said that he fared better when he put it on the bottom and the supplied mattress on top. The other two (my husband and I) didn't bother switching them around; and, while I didn't wake up with hip pain, I was stiff all over from sleeping on it. My husband also mentioned that he found the mattress intolerably hard. Another person who camped with us (275 lbs.) also bought one on her own and said that with it on the bottom and two of the thin camp mattresses on top that it was not too bad, but, not great either. Since there is nothing structurally wrong with them, I am not going to return them. And, while they will probably get used again for other trips (I don't have any hope that they will get softer), I am going to have to think of some way to modify them, because as they are now we won't use them except to pile them on top of each other as an extra bed for a guest we want to leave quickly... If they had just been a tad bit softer, they would have been perfect. Very, very disappointed.

High Quality, Very Comfortable and Firm, Easy Storage
I bought this awesome Hide a Mat for when my daughter has friends spend the night or when we have relatives staying overnight. It's rather large so even my 6'0" tall husband can fit on it comfortably with some room to spare - the mat measures 30x75" and is 3.5" thick. The thickness was a huge selling point for me because many of the sleeping mats on Amazon were so thin you might as well sleep on the floor. I've slept on this a few times and it's very comfortable and firm, so you don't sink down to the floor on it. It comes in a storage bag and also has a carrying handle for convenience. I also like that it has Velcro straps to hold it shut from unfolding and that it was very easy to put back in the storage bag and zip up. The fold up design makes it easy to store under a bed or in the side of your closet. The blue mattress cover is removable and washable, but looks like such a hassle to get back on, so because it's junior twin size, you can easily tuck a twin sheet around it and then just wash that sheet when you are done using it. My mom liked it so much that she bought a few for when the grandkids spend the night. High quality and we've already gotten a lot of use out of it.

good for temporary use
It's not very comfortable, but it is better than sleeping on the floor. It is not a real mattress, it is more like a thick piece of foam to provide some relief from the ground. If you want comfort, if you are using it for a larger person (I am 5'), or if you are using it as something semi-permanent, I would recommend you look for a real mattress. This is supposed to be something temporary and for that, it serves its purpose well. Scouring Amazon, I ended up purchasing this because it is the only bed that is truly portable.. it folds and comes with a carry strap so it gets put away very quickly and easily compared to more comfortable and pricier options.
