Quality

These locks are rugged and should discourage would-be troublemakers. The fact that one key fits both of the locks is a big bonus. Quality is very good.

Only one of 2 keys work in the lock.

Got these locks to help with a move; I initially chose them based on the ability to handle the weather and durability. They look and seem to work great for those features; however, I received 2 different keys with the locks and only one of them works; the other must be for a different lock.

Not Waterproof

These looked like they were meant to be waterproof with a cover to snap over the keyhole. However, the cover has a hole in it.

Returned, but could work in right climate

I returned and exchanged this for a different model, without the waterproofing. While the lock worked, the gummy watterproofing material turns into a black slimey thing in the hot Virginia summers, which I wanted to avoid.

Penske truck

I used this to drive thousands of miles across the country and it held a Penske truck closed. It got dusty and it got rained on but still worked. Not sure if I would use it again but for the price it was a decent buy.

Perfect for RV battery locks

Nice and heavy duty. This particular lock was the perfect size for two travel trailer battery locks (B-D RV Battery Lock). The shackle diameter snugly fit the lock bar tab holes diameter, the shackle width and spread was just right, snug, just the way I wanted. These are nice HD locks that will deter most scumbag opportunist criminals. So sad that it has become necessary to lock up our travel trailer batteries (and propane tanks).

Missing Key

Received lock in sealed package, missing key. Not very useful without a key, waste of time immediately returning for refund. Quality control, anyone? Lock appears to be ~50% plastic internally.

Solid Basic Padlock

Use it to secure a heavy chain for my ebike. Boron metal makes it tougher to cut.
