File Cabinet with Drawers That Glide Very Nicely

I like this file cabinet. The drawers glide very nicely, and I like the neutral color. The "built in" handle is also nice looking. Due to space issues, I use this cab in my bedroom-office. If you have to have a metal file cabinet in a bedroom, this is a nice one to have. My only issue with it is the gauge of the metal sides and top may be on the thin side. The first one I bought arrived in perfect condition, but the second one came with a significant dent that interfered with the glide of the top drawer. I sent it back, and ordered another. That one came with a minor dent/buckle that at least did not interfere with function, so I just kept it rather than sending it back again. If I recall correctly, ours was in the 50-60 lb range, and a newer model is in the 70-80 range. Perhaps the company is trying to correct the problem.

Does the job

Yeah it came in quite dented - so much so that the Styrofoam was pretty much shattered in the box. The fact that we could still lock/unlock open/close the drawers decided us on keeping it instead of returning it. Hubby just gave it a few shots with a mallet and, though it looks abused, it works. I like the fact that it's mobile and the rollers are hidden. Not a classy file cabinet, but it does the job it was intended to do and that's good enough for us.

GOOD PRODUCT

I am happy with the file cabinet. The drawers open easily and the cabinet does not tip, even if the drawer is fully extended. The wheels make it easy to place.
