I love stride rite for big feet...but flawed

I wear between an 11 & 12 narrow shoe and love that this company accommodates. I just wish I could try them in store. I wore these for an event and was pleased. I do need to put something in the ball of the tow to prevent sliding. Beautiful appearance. I ended up getting an 11 narrow. All my athletic shoes are 12 AA. Not sure if an 11.5 would have got better, but it's not offered. Update. There literally is like a small pole that runs across the width of the shoe at the ball of the foot that is so painful, and a very prominent "ball/lump" at the ball of the big toe. Both are under the glued in insole. Both make my feet hurt so badly. I think the pads that can be put at the toe can resolve the issue, but a shoe shouldn't require extra products to make it wearable. I appreciate the grip on the bottom of the shoe. Disappointed in the quality of the flaw in the shoe given Strude Rite used to be such a high quality product for so many many year.
