These hooks were a great value

I custom built a two tier coat rack for my mud room using 12 of these. They look good, work well and are standing up to the usage. I'd buy more if needed on another project.

It's a hook

We bought a house that had one of these mounted in the closet. We wanted two. Hurray for Amazon, I found this exact match so now we have a pair. It's a nice, heavy hook that comes with good screws and sheet rock anchors.

Need to sign for Shipping

Why would you require a signature for a $4.84 item? UPS wouldn't deliver and when I went to the UPS store they didn't have it. This cheap coat hook is not worth the hassle.

Screws would come out the other side of most doors…

I have purchased and used these in the past and they were great. I wanted to match the existing ones that I already have in my house and wanted to match one extra that I already have so I could have two on the same door. They used to come with 1 inch screws, but now they come with 2 inch screws. Most doors are 1 7/8” thick, so if you install these as intended, in most cases you’d have the tips of the screws sticking out the other side of the door. Absolute fail!!! I happened to have an old one of these robe hooks with the 1” screws so It tipped me off to the issue. I placed the screw against the edge of the door and even with the thickness of the robe hook, it would start to bust out the back side, or front side, of the door depending on which side you screwed in from. I would keep them if they had the correct length screw, but ordering it on Amazon and then having to drive to the hardware store to buy ridiculously overpriced screws hoping the finish will match would be a complete waste of time…
