Makes good rice but have some negatives
First off, I like how it's made in Korea. The made in China ones have always been on the cheaper quality side from what I gathered. This rice cooker helped keep the rice warm, without drying it out, for a good 3 days. Most cheap cookers can't do that, you either get bad smelly rice or hard rice. It has different settings which I don't use, I only use the white rice setting. Cook time is decent, no noticeable difference between quick cook setting. For about 2 cup of white rice it is finished in 30 minutes or less. Cons: Pot is excellent material, has good weight and thickness. The only downside is that you have to be careful when washing. Outer coating already came off when using in dishwasher. I would suggest using mild detergent and hand wash this thing. The buttons are super hard to press. Maybe I got a bad batch but setting the time and timer needs a lot of finger strength. The other buttons are OK, just the 3 main buttons in the middle. So if you are careful with the pot, and receive one with good buttons then this is a keeper. Don't expect anything fancy, this is an average rice cooker, it makes better rice than your $20-30 ones but if you want anything premium, you got to spend the couple hundred for a fuzzy logic one.

Missing rubber feet
Have not had a chance to try GABA rice in this machine since it was the sole purpose why I selected it. So far I tested with medium grain white rice and it came out just as good as from my Zojirushi NS-TSC10. Usage is a bit convoluted and confusing. DOES NOT alert you when it starts of finishes with any sounds which I would like. Also, found it strange that it does not come with any rubber feet. It appears that there are notches at the bottom plastic feet to attach some sort of anti-skid rubber feet to it but did not come with any so the machine slides easily on smooth surfaces. I did notice others reporting the same and had their rice cookers slide off the countertops onto the floor.

Great Rice Cooker
I was looking for a new rice cooker and came across this one. I have used other Cuckoo rice cookers before so I knew this was a good brand. The color is super cute and it cooks the best rice every single time. It's super easy to clean and it's relatively quiet. This model does not talk to you, it beeps when the rice is cooked. I've owned this rice cooker for more than 3 months and I'm so happy I purchased this!

Changed our lives
This Cuckoo rice cooker is amazing. I have been using Zojirushi ever since I was a kid. This Cuckoo is better. It cooks rice much faster, and keeps the rice edible for much longer. It's just great. I grew up in an Asian family where rice is a staple. Rice never went bad due to drying out or burning because it was all gone and eaten up between all the kids in the house. Now that I'm an adult and I have a 2 person household, the rice tends to not get eaten up very fast. With the Zoji, by day 2, the rice was already brown and yellowing. By day 2 the Cuckoo's rice still looks like it is only a couple of hours old. This Cuckoo rice cooker really is amazing. It's reduced food wastage, and it's also reduced me over eating rice to not waste food. It's very convenient because you can come home from a long day, and you know that at least the rice is still good so you can cook something else. A real time saver. Can't recommend it enough!

Premium rice cooker
Have used it for a couple of years now and it's still working great. A little bit more money than some but is quite versatile. Bit of a learning curve if you're looking to use it for all the stuff that it's capable of but we mostly just cook rice with it and it comes out perfect every time. Also, the pot is of a heavy guage metal, very solid and easy to clean. We bought another one this year as a Christmas gift.

Works well and easy to use!
Love it! The rice cooker cooks our rice really well and does a better job than other ones I’ve owned. The inner pot is nice and sturdy and I can tell it’s made from quality material. It is also really cute and looks great on our counter - which is a always bonus!
