An excellent bedroom chair!

I got this chair for a bedroom chair; low to enable putting on shoes and socks, sturdy enough for draping partly worn stuff over, and perhaps other uses (wink wink nudge nudge). This chair suits perfectly. It's the right height for me to do shoes and socks, as a 5'7" woman, and stands up to having stuff draped on it. Also survived some inspired activity in which it bore about 300 pounds in vigorous motion and didn't even creak. It got three stars on putting it together because getting it properly lined up to screw back to front was a little interesting and frustrating. Once I got it lined up there was no problem, and everything else went together easily and well. I really like this chair and am considering purchasing another for the guest room.

It’s a great chair

The chair is beautiful and completed our space perfectly. The back legs were a little difficult to get lined up, but I had the chair assembled in about 15 minutes. It does have a low seat, so if you are more than 6’ you may not enjoy this chair. My husband sits in it to play his guitar, and he thought it was a little low, but has gotten used to it now.

Overall chair looks like high quality furniture. Support is firm & yet comfortable. Excellent addition to the room. The only downside is one of the screws didn't fit, had to force it. Then finally it went pretty quickly.

I did not have trouble with the screws. However, the legs, which have channels cut in them to slide onto corresponding tracks in the base of the chair, would not fit. The channels look like they were cut by hand, they were curved rather than straight. Ideally I would have fixed this with a milling machine, but I do not have one, so I ground out some of the wood with an angle grinder and managed to get the legs to fit. Tightening the screw on one of the legs caused the leg to crack; it seems to be holding up, but not sure how long. The instructions also say something about attaching a "paint back". There is no such thing as a paint back in the dictionary. What they mean is you have to put two screws through the back of the bottom frame and into the bottom of the back section. In case you thought this was real leather, of course it is not. In short, avoid. This is not worth the money.

Perfect hideaway for our Robot Vacuum

A little difficult to assemble, but once you get it together, the chair seems very substantial. The chair is very firm and the back is rather upright so it isn't super comfortable but it blends well with our dark brown leather couches. Very happy with it!

Consider the size carefully

This is a very nice chair that seems to be comfortable enough. However, I misjudged the size. It is replacing a chair that was much wider and allowed me and my puppy dog to sit together. This one doesn't. It's attractive enough though.
