Bad "head band" but otherwise good

I bought a medium for my 10 year old daughter who wears a size 8 in jeans and a 7/8 in shirts. I thought this fit well. The pants were loose enough to wear leggings under(for warmth). Overall I liked it and so did she. My only complaint is that the red head band is NOT as it appears in the picture. It's literally about an inch wide and 2 feet long. There is no hem on it-it's a scrap of cloth cut with scissors. That was disappointing but we made it work. It's definitely a costume and as far as I know none of them are made with super high quality fabric.

Great find!

Bought this for my daughters "pirate day" for school. it was exactly what we were looking for. Not surprisingly, she was the best dressed pirate. And it'll be a day she'll remember for a lifetime! However, the boot cuffs just didn't work at all... We just threw them out all together, she had winter boots that looked way better with the outfit anyway. And for that reason it gets a 4 star because if we didn't have our own boots I don't know what we would have done... But all in all, I was glad to find this costume!

Really happy with this costume

Really happy with this costume. Good quality, what you expect for the price and for a costume, it doesn't feel or look cheap. I got the 8-10 size for my 7 year old who is somewhat on the smaller side, or I should say she is quite on the 7 year mark for clothes. So it is a little big for her, but I can easily make adjustments so it fits her better. The boot covers are way to big though, but we were not planning on using them anyway. It comes with top piece (vest attached to blouse), pants, belt, boot covers, head sash. All in all, happy with the purchase.

Super cute

This arrived incredibly fast. It was ordered for a Halloween costume. My daughter loved it. Ordered an 8-10. My daughter wears a 10. She weights about 75 pounds and is 52 inches. It was generously cut, the waste was a little big. The costume is not very warm. Our temps dropped to the low 40s, so my daughter had to wear a jacket.

Great costume for the money!

This costume is great for my tall and slender 9 year old!!! She looks fantastic and is so excited to go out dressed as a pirate. The only two things holding this back from five stars is the arm bands for sleeve is tight (and she is very slender) and the material is thin. We are very happy with this purchase.

Good choice for a girl wannabe pirate

I bought this for my 8-year-old granddaughter, and I was worried about the fit. It turned out to be exactly what she wanted, and it was a good fit. She wore it for Halloween, and she has played in it a few times too. It is not going to last a long time, but she got enough wear out of it to make it worth the money.

Great costume for 9 year old girl!

Great value, and very decent quality for the price. Boot cuffs were not great, but my daughter didn't need them. I loved finding a girl pirate costume that actually had pants instead of a short skirt.
