top quality item

You can go to the local home improvement store and buy a sink drain for $10, so the price of this item seems high. The reality is you get what you pay for. The cheap drains have steel parts in them in spite of what the label may suggest. This unit is all brass and has outstanding quality built into it. If you don't want to be replacing your sink drain every few years, the Kohler brand is worth every penny.

Small pop-up for a drain without overflow

First understand that a drain without overflow is used in a vessel sink or integrated countertop/sink without an overflow hole. And as we found out, the drain-holes of such sinks tend to be wider than 'normal' sinks. So we had to return this product because the pop-up wasn't wide enough to cover the drain hole in our sink. Other than that...I expect it would have been 5 stars.

the only one I could find to allow the faucet to hook up to a not overflow sink

vey important product when you use a marble sink with no overflow it has to hook up to the faucet and most companies don't offer this.

Easy install

Quick, clean, and easy install that looks great. Thank god they had this piece here on Amazon because Kohler had a 4-6 week lead time. Having no sink for 4-6 weeks would have been less-than-good. Solid construction, easy instruction. What more could you ask for. V

terrible product

this product is terrible. the rubber doesn't seal so water continually drains out of the bathtub. kohler replaced the part but it still doesn't work.
