Kitchen Aid the Only Tong to use... bought 3 like them so much.
I cook a-lot and need good gear, high quality tongs are very hard to find those that are affordable that is. These are the finest pair I've managed to find and am confident these will last the rest of my cooking career. The metal is thick and handles solid and they grip what I am grabbing at, Love these. Kitchen Aid is my trusted brand for the kitchen, period and no I am no endorsed, by them, just a fan of good tools.

Great tongs
These tongs are not only good for cooking, but also for grabbing things off the top shelves in my cabinets. It's hard being height challenged and these tongs do double duty in my kitchen. I have some professional tongs which you lock into the closed position by tilting up which allows you do close them one handed but this function works against me when trying to grab a box from my top shelve. These tongs require you to pull the hook out slightly on the bottom to open and push it down to close.

I can pick up anything
I find the gripping feature to be fantastic. I’ve been using these for months and have yet to drop or fumble something. I love that there is no plastic on them. The lock works very well. I put them in the dishwasher and they always come out clean.. I’m happy with them. I recommend.

Solid Tongs
Bought this on Cyber Monday/Black Friday at discounted price. Pretty solid feel to these tongs and while they don't have the rubber settings to avoid scrapping my cookware, for ~$10 I'll be careful. It also seems pretty well constructed.
